This hotel is in a very cool old building, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Laundry facilities were clean, efficient, but you need quarters. Hotel is cashless so don't expect to get change for laundry. Front desk clerk gave us all the change she had ($2.00) which ended up being enough as we had a dollar in quarters between the two of us. Location is in what I would call the outskirts of the parts of St. Louis you likely want to visit (Arch, Stadiums). It was my fault for not doing more research on St. Louis. The hotel is doing a good job securing the building, and we used the valet parking service which was easy and well worth it. But the area immediately around the hotel did not feel all that safe at night. Fine during the day. A lot farther walk from the Arch than I thought

Positive: "" Negative: Parking situation was challenging, homeless loitering about the intersection, security guard hanging out inside chatting with staff. I was sent to a room that was not ready, had to wait in line again and switch rooms. Some breakfast staff were surly.

Rooms 215 and 216 does not hot water when the hotel is full to capacity. Called FD on Friday night and she stated to run water for 20 minutes before getting in shower. Still did not get hot. She also stated that she would leave a note for maintenance to check rooms the next day. On Saturday spoke to FD before leaving to view the city she put room numbers on a sticky note to give to maintenance. Returned for the day still no hot water. Called desk and same FD as Friday night said the same thing about hot water. No change. After checking out my husband contacted GM and she passed the email to the AGM. They both stated this was their first time hearing about no hot water. So either management lying or FD lying about this situation. This is not the first time someone has complained about no ho

Amazing stay! Room was clean and very nice! Hotel staff saved us from being without a room when hotels.com tried to screw us over. Was exceptionally kind and helpful in the whole endeavor! Staff was very personable and pleasant the whole stay. Admittedly parking is difficult for busy events. LaKisha and Laqonda were the most helpful and understanding.

Lakisha is an amazing front desk manager. She sets you up for success, listens to your requests, and provides exceptional customer service. Thank you Lakisha for having such great energy, positivity, and patience with me as I struggled to process checking in after a long ride. If you’re looking for exceptional hotel service for an exceptional price- this is your place. The breakfast is hot breakfast and the service is outstanding. Side Note- I explored the Union Station Cairo Edition Hotel… this was a steal to get a couple blocks away and the price is insane over there unless you want every little offering but if you want a luxury room and a great location - this is your hotel!
