Home2 Suites by Hilton Fort Myers Airport

Fled here when the TownPlace Suites had an internal electric issue. This place is so much nicer and it actually cost less. The rooms are cleaner. The rooms are much larger. The walls are thicker. The breakfast is better. The people who work here are more knowledgeable. Hands-down, a much better experience.

We are Planning for Good®️, providing Wealth Strategies with Heart.) First, let’s keep in mind that this is a 3 star hotel, not a luxury hotel. With that, this place exceeds expectations! It’s not fancy but it’s clean, the beds are comfortable and it was so good to have a kitchenette with basic utensils and a full size sink and fridge/freezer. Awesome. The shower was also great in terms of size and water pressure. A great surprise… there’s a heated salt water pool on the back with a large patio! That was nice

We got in late off a flight and left the next morning right after breakfast so we mostly just slept. It was a very comfortable bed. And a very clean room and bath. Its very convenient to the airport. We used Night Owl Taxi which was recommended by the hotel and necessary as the hotel shuttle does not run after 11 PM. The Taxi service was great also.

Positive: We stayed 4 days and after day 2 still no housekeeping, we asked at the front desk and you have to ask: WE ASKED No signs or verbal interaction that we had to ask; though signs everywhere how we can tip housekeeping. We asked and still none! Negative: The lack of respect and understanding of no housekeeping. Four days of wet towels in the room smelled musty. We had to ask for new towels and coffee for 4 days. This was my first Home2 Suites stay experience and it won't be my last. Despite having to pay for parking, the location was perfect, it is away from traffic, there are no other hotels nearby and it is not far from restaurants and shopping areas. Although the airport is nearby, there was no airplane noise. H2S has nice decor throughout the building. The receptionist was very informative and she provided easy instructions on how to stop the light motion detection. I love the room layout, my 4th floor room was clean, cold and very quiet (until guests room doors slammed). The bed was comfortable but the pillows were extremely too soft. I like the privacy curtain between the living room and bed area. The kitchen was equipped with plateware, glassware and utensils (pots and pans upon request). A
