Home2 Suites by Hilton Buford Mall of Georgia

Very clean and nice hotel. I've stayed at several Home2 Suites and this has been the best one. The front desk employees were very friendly at check in and even provided me with a disposal razor so I didn't need to go searching for one after a long day. The room was spotless and comfortable. They gave me a nice bag with water and chocolates. Very nice touch.

I reserved a room almost one year in advance for the Petit LeMans Week in nearby Road Atlanta. 4 days prior to arrival I was sent an email stating they had overbooked and are relocating me to the Lawrenceville location. (This was never updated on my Hilton Honors account.) I find the owner/manager deceitful. I had booked our room at a lower rate...perhaps because it was so far in advance. I know because friends of ours booked several months after us and at a much higher rate. But, yet they were not relocated?! I was relocated so they can charge a higher rate for our room. We could not enjoy the week with our friends because we were at two different locations. Inconvenient for us and not what we had planned! The owner/manager/Hilton doesn't care! My stay at the hotel was quite pleasant overall. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was polite and attentive. The facilities, especially the pool and fitness area, were well-maintained and enjoyable. The breakfast selection was good, though there’s room for improvement with the variety. Location-wise, it’s convenient and close to local attractions, making it easy to explore the area. A few minor issues here and there, but nothing that really impacted the experience. I’d happily stay here again and would recommend it to others looking for a good value stay.

Stayed this past week 2/11 for work. Nice clean / comfortable hotel. It was surprisingly a quiet area overall which was really nice. Lots of stuff to do nearby and seems like a great area overall plenty of retail / restaurants nearby to also enjoy. The lady working the front desk ( I don’t recall her name) was also great to deal with and very friendly/ knowledgeable.

I had a really great experience thanks to Michelle at the hotel. After a long day at work I accidentally left my phone behind. I work right across the street at Raising Cane’s, so I came back hoping it might still be there. Not only did Michelle find it, but she had already charged it and kept it safe for me. She was extremely kind, understanding, and patient with my family and our situation. You can tell she genuinely cares about helping people, not just doing her job. Her honesty and compassion turned a stressful moment into a huge relief. Employees like Michelle make a place feel welcoming and trustworthy. I truly appreciate her and hope management recognizes how valuable she is.
