Holiday Inn Wichita East I-35 by IHG

The staff are really nice and friendly, though I think additional training is needed. I worked with three different staff members since I had a group there for an onsite conference, and all three seemed confused. One of them even sent my group member up to a room not knowing if someone was already there, which was incredibly unsafe. I also booked five regular king rooms but was forced to pay for two suites as I assume they overbooked themselves. Since the renovations, the public areas look a lot nicer. The rooms are a bit outdated and the bathroom, especially the shower, could definitely be cleaner. The bed is without a doubt the worst thing I have ever slept on, to the point I struggled to sleep while staying here. Overall, I don't think I would stay here if my conference wasn't hosted he

I don't normally go out of my way to write these reviews, but I just wanted to express how happy we were with this hotel. It was very clean, the front desk was well managed, and the staff was super nice. We stayed in another name-brand hotel the night before and it was not very good. The price was very reasonable.

I wish I could put zero stars This was the worst experience I ever had, we came to Wichita for my sisters baby shower We had booked a room for my mom and dad to come later that evening we had paid and made sure that everything was done so that they can check in and everything would be fine. We even paid the incidental fee the Lady check them in and I even had my dad’s name under the reservation. My elderly parents came in at 2 o’clock in the morning and tried to check in and there was a lady name Sondra working and a guy with messed up teeth they profiled my dad and treated him very poorly where he didn’t even want to stay and they said they could not find them in the system. Mind, you we already checked them in, and she did not even take the time to find whenever we went down there to com

So I have stay at this hotel for the last year and half off and on with no problem,so didn't except any problems but the last two timeshas been very disappointing the rooms thst was giving was dirty and bed had hair on top of sheets and blanket ,the first time the manger and staff was very helpful and fix the problem right away but this last the manger was giving a I don't care attitude and wouldn't listen to me just keep blaming other folks and said nothing could be done about it and some one would call me about my problems well no ever called,so I will not be staying at this location again. I don't know what happen In last couple months but the new people was different and not very customer friendly..pervious staff was outstanding.

Fantastic hotel in a great location with several restaurants in close proximity. The absolute best part was their breakfast. They had a buffet with thick sliced bacon, fresh fruit, and French Toast.
