Holiday Inn & Suites Madison West - Middleton by IHG

The room was clean, spacious and bed was comfortable. The bar sink was broken and I couldn't get the TV to work. A Smart TV would be a nice upgrade. The shower didn't have a door and got the floor very wet-slippery situation. We were not able to check in early as I requested or use the water park early because there was a birthday party going on. One of the front desk workers was not very friendly. Would've been nice to know before our arrival with two little kids-we had to wait around 2 hours until our room was ready. The water park is the perfect size for little ones. Appreciated the large hot tub and the slide was fun for the kids. We will be back, but not during spring break time-too busy.

We were looking for a nearby one-day/night getaway with our grandkids, and the Holiday Inn & Suites fit the bill beautifully. The facilities were clean, and the rooms (we rented two poolside rooms) were spacious and well maintained. Having access to the rooms from both the hallway and the poolside was a big plus, making it very easy to get to the pool.||The water park is just right for younger children. Having a smaller pool area for kids four and under, along with a slightly larger pool for ages four and up, worked out perfectly.||The staff were friendly and helpful. The price felt very reasonable, and when I called to make the reservation, they even matched a lower price I had found online.||Having a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker was awesome as well. The pool is open until 9

The room itself was nice and clean. Location was nice. The hallways and pool area were very cold. I’ve never seen so many people taking young children into the hot tub to warm up or people wearing sweatshirts in the pool area. They had lifeguards or pool attendants on duty but the majority of them were on their phones or had their kids with them the whole time, not paying attention in the slightest. The water slide and toddler play area were nice, fun for kids! We had a room off the pool which was convenient. The carpet outside the room was pretty gross and stained. The garbage cans weren’t emptied out there the 2 days we were there. Overall decent stay for the money, but could definitely use some refurbishments and a little TLC.

I booked this room through a 3rd party on Priceline on valentines day for my son and myself. When I arrived I was greeted wonderfully and checked in great was given my room keys with no hassle. We went up to our room put our Suits on and proceeded down to the pool to do some swimming which I noticed half of the pool was closed and learned as I was walking in from another woman who was staying at the hotel that someone puked in the pool so we were limited to only the baby side, which was no big deal at least we could get some pool time. Needless to say that didnt last long someone ended up throwing up on that side as well and they closed the entire pool down that was shortly after we got in there within 15 mins. so we literally got no swim time my little guy is autistic we usually come her

The beds were super comfortable. Check in was easy. The breakfast was very good! Well above average for a continental breakfast! The pool was fun but very crowded. The heating/cooling unit had a continuous fan option which is great because most hotel rooms don’t and every time it turns off I wake up since I’m used to sleeping with a fan on at home. The only reason I gave 4 stars was for cleanliness. It was average. There was a fruit loop on the floor by the side of the bed and we didn’t have fruit loops. The bathroom floor could have been more clean as well.
