Holiday Inn Missoula Downtown by IHG

Luxury price only. I found hair in the eggs served at a conference they catered in house. $16 for hotel breakfast that is free everywhere else. Looks like they vacuum once a month or something. Very unsettling. Oh yes and the $35 charge to my card for incidentals when I'm here with my company/organization. Thats not right. You know it doesn't take a $35 hold charge to check a card for verification.

I cannot say enough about this hotel and their staff. I was recently in town for a family emergency. The hotel staff was kind, caring and compassionate. I used their shuttle service with Robert to come from the airport during a snow event. I was greeted by Ash upon check in. Let me tell you Ash is wonderful. She later was able to shuttle me a couple of places in the snow. She didn't hesitate to say yes, when I asked her to take me and pick me up. I had to extend my stay by two days. Ash was able to extend the stay, keeping us in the same room. I was there when the winds hit the city and knocked out power for a couple of hours. The staff was wonderful taking care of the guests. We stayed at this hotel in August during our family road trip and honestly loved it. The place was clean and comfortable, and had a nice cozy vibe. The bar was small but really nice, we enjoyed hanging out there. The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful too. Overall, it’s a great hotel and we had a really good experience staying here.

Positive: The front desk staff were amazing & the bed was extremely comfortable. I had some parking issues due to festival/farmers market & I took the wrong street. I called the hotel and the gal was sweet enough to let me in through the back gate. Negative: The hot tub had just been filled & was chilly. Understandable however. Continental breakfast would have been a nice option.

Rooms were great, very modern, only downside for me was that there was no microwave in the room. It's downtown so there's plenty to do within walking distance. Secure parking lot.
