Serious housekeeping failures and unreasonable credit card hold I stayed at Holiday Inn Louisville East – Hurstbourne during a bowling tournament weekend in late February. Shower design caused repeated flooding Every time I took a shower, a very large amount of water leaked from the shower curtain onto the bathroom floor. The room had an accessible shower with a bowed curtain rod that extended past the edge of the shower pan, which caused water to run down the curtain directly onto the floor. I had to use several towels after each shower just to soak up the water. Housekeeping failures On Sunday morning, I removed the “Do Not Disturb” sign before leaving at 8:00 a.m. for my bowling tournament so the room could be serviced. My daughter lives in Louisville so i travel several times a year to the area. This hotel was quiet. The breakfast was good and the room comfortable. I had a connected a room to my daughter and her family. Again, so quiet, no shower noise, no toliet flushing, no elevator noise. The first day we tried to see the pool but it was locked, no one could explain why it was locked. We didn't have enough towels. The hotel wasn't busy, so I'm not sure why towels were scarce. The staff was overall pretty good. the first day my daughters room didn't get cleaned or fresh towels. Mine was clean and fresh towels delivered, just the minimum amount. My daughter never had enough towels for 3 people. I went and got towels on 2 occasions. The coffee in the rooms was bad. overall, just a couple

Not sure how anyone can say anything negative but I’ll start by saying this place is amazing yes it could use some air freshener in the hallways because it does have a small odor as you walk around the building however I must say outside of that that amazing chef …. I believe his name is Chef Kerry not only can he cook but he’s an amazing warm and welcoming spirited man with great conversation and the young lady Ms. Angie who’s also a warm welcoming spirited woman with great wisdom and conversation they made me feel so comfortable and can expect to see me again let’s not forget the young lady who checked us in tb helpful and genuinely kind can’t remember her name but she’s knows exactly who she is…. Thank you staff for being so accommodating and welcoming I’ll be back

Positive: decent price Negative: Every evening when we returned to the hotel, the staff had to reset the key cards so we could enter our room. When we first arrived, we had to request a different room because I had reserved a mobility accessible room and the room was not.

Bed Bugs! We booked a room here for 6 nights during Christmas week. The staff at the front desk were very professional, especially Montez, he was great. When we walked to our room, the hallways smelled of dampness and mildew. There were numerous fans throughout the hotel drying wet carpets. On the 4th night of our stay, my sons got very sick due to a virus or something (not the hotel's fault). We had to change rooms due to him getting sick all over the carpet of the room we were in. The staff moved us to another room that night. I had to take my sons to the ER and didn't return to our new room until about 3 am. We stayed in the room most of the day while my sons slept. That night, I looked on the bed and there were bed bugs crawling on the sheets of my son's bed. I captured one of the bed
