I reserved a 2 queen bed room for my family of four 6 months in advance. At checkin we were given a 1 king bed room. Nothing was said of the change upon check in. We didn't know until we got to the room. Went back to front desk and was told they were sold out and they didn't have cots. I showed my confirmation email and was told too bad, when we are sold out we assign rooms how we feel and the girl walked away and told her co workers standing behind her that he works here too. Luckily he was able to switch us to a handicap room with two beds. There was no complimentary breakfast, we were told on busy weekends when they are booked they charge for breakfast. Room service only came once during our stay and when we asked for toilet paper at the front desk it was very clear that it was an incon
I was here on a work trip for Bourbon & beyond and Louder than Life 9/10-9/23. This hotel was amazing! The staff is absolutely amazing. Let's start with the shuttle service from the airport with Lance although a short trip he had us laughing the entire time he was very friendly...upon arriving at the hotel it was nice and clean outside. The lobby is very nicely decorated. The check-in staff Lani was very courteous got me checked in really quickly and really efficiently although there was a lobby full of guests waiting to be checked in. She was really nice throughout the entire stay as were all the staff that I encountered while I was there. I want to give a special thanks to Mr Curt for letting me know that the hotel shuttle would take me over to the event every day and get me closer than
By far the worst customer service I've ever experienced in a Holiday Inn. I was with my family for my daughter's cheer competition December 5-7 and witnessed some of the most unprofessional behavior from hotel staff that I could imagine. First, my wife booked the room through Team Travel Source and was told the room included breakfast. When she received the keys, she was told breakfast was $6. (There is no such thing.) She was confused why some of the desk staff was laughing when she was told her booking had $6 breakfast credits that she was to tell the breakfast staff this arrangement the next morning. (There was no such thing.) The desk staff simply made up a story which made my wife confused and frustrated when the breakfast staff told her they had never heard of a $6 breakfast cost and
**Edit-- After emailing the General Manager in response to my review, I’ve added a star for service and overall experience because of his quick and thoughtful follow-up. He let me know that changes were already made, including removing guests’ personal information from public view for shuttle rides. I really appreciate how seriously and promptly he addressed the issue. I believe things will improve, and I wish them the best moving forward!*** From the beginning, the stay was lacking. It took over 45 minutes to reach someone at the hotel for a shuttle pickup—an exhausting start after a long day of travel. While the shuttle driver was pleasant, the vehicle itself had a strong, unpleasant odor that persisted each of the four times I used it. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was immediately stru
We had the opportunity to stay at this hotel because of the marching band competition. We met Tracy when the bar first opened for the evening and she was fantastic. She told us a great story about how she helped some people out and it wasn’t her bragging - she was legitimately happy to help others. We went back to the bar after the second round of competition and Tracy greeted us with a huge smile and wave! She was nothing but accommodating and gave us great advice about the next day breakfast! We had a really great time with her and she made our stay memorable. The only questionable thing we ran into was there was an irate guest at the front desk while we were eating breakfast and he came into the dining room telling his side of the story. But the front desk person felt very uncomfortable
