Holiday Inn Harrisburg (Hershey Area) I-81 by IHG

1. Called ahead of time and asked if there was a working pool and hot tub. I was told that there was. Arrived and hot tub was broken and pool was extremely warm with slightly cloudy water. They openly lied. 2. As I walked to my room I noticed some of the walls were scuffed up, it was very cold in the hallways, and panels were missing from the ceiling every couple of tiles. 3. At 8am, I awoke to drilling and hammering sounds and learned that the hotel was actively under construction. It would have been nice to know as im a contractor who works 2nd shift. 4. When I arrived, I was given 4 breakfast vouchers for breakfast buffet. How kind! I went down the next morning and there was no breakfast whatsoever. Positive: The staff was excellent. Best Hotel staff ever. Professional, helpful and accommodating Negative: My room was switched from a king suite to 2 queens without notice. Also morning breakfast was not free as advertised but $15 per person weekdays and more on the weekenrds

The Keurig coffee maker in my room had to be swapped out because it would not latch. I also noticed that the door was not closing all of the way on its own. Neither of those is a really big deal. The staff was nice and swapped out the coffee maker and I had plenty of towels and everything else.

We stayed at the hotel with a large group for the weekend. Stephanie, the GM, and her team were absolutely amazing—extremely helpful, always available, and incredibly patient. We came with a large group of kids, and despite the noise and mess, the hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating to them, which we truly appreciated. The hotel itself is older, but many of the rooms have been renovated. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Overall, it was a great stay. The kids were happy, and everything worked out smoothly. I would highly recommend staying here.

Hoy tuve una buena experiencia en el Hollyday inn. In the evening I visited their restaurant bar with high quality food and service. And I slept like a king in the totally renovated rooms Wooo! And a good breakfast could not be missing with home made products I recommend it
