Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wilson I-95 by IHG

Shaniqua and Tiffany were amazing! Aside from the great rooms and cleanliness those two individuals really made the stay warming and welcoming. We had a small issue with the room and we didn’t even have to mention it, the noticed and immediately resolved the issue. Plus they were super sweet to our Golden Retriever. Every establishment should seek out great employees like them!

I wanted to share our experience with this hotel. I will start off by saying that most of the staff were vey nice and accommodating. Unfortunately that is where it ends. The first room we were given had hair and dirt in the bathtub. As I mentioned the staff immediately apologized and placed us in a different room. That room was cleaner, however, when taking a shower the water backed up and it was like we were taking a bath. No exaggeration!! Now we were attending a soccer showcase that was in Wilson so moving to a different hotel was not in the cards. So we endured and made the most of it. If you have business in Wilson, I would suggest staying in a hotel out of the city that is a little bit more up to date. Unless you are fine with what was noted above. Humbly,

Positive: I liked that my room was extremely clean. The housekeepers seemed to go above and beyond in cleanliness. The staff who managed breakfast and dining were excellent as well. Very attentive and very clean. Negative: I was unable to get the climate control working to my satisfaction but my room wasn?t unbearable. Even thought the hotel is older, the upgrades are nice. There are areas that still show the hotels true age. There was a crack in the wall in the bathroom.

I just wanted to tell you Oliver checked us in tonight. He was awesome. He told me he has been working here for a long time. I think he said 11 years. Well, it shows. I have stayed at many Hotels, but he was terrific. My brief encounter with him was what customer service should be! He was quick, efficient, and very nice and friendly. Told me the best place to park and explained about your terrific breakfast. Please share with him this review, as when I said goodnight to him, I told him I would leave a review. In the world of not-so-great customer service, Oliver can teach everyone how to do it. I would say give him a raise! With the cost of living going up I'm sure he could certainly use a pay increase.
