Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Wilson, NC

The room was great. Clean, comfortable. We stay there every year in our travels to and from Florida. This year we had a family above us who evidently could not control their children. Running up and down the halls, jumping around and playing the tv loudly until 3 am. Not good. We were in room 301 so it was the occupants of 401. Not sure if anyone else was bothered by this but they were right above us. Never happened before in all the years that we have been staying there.

**Long post alert but I gotta get this off my chest**||||Horrible hotel experience through choice hotels!! Specifically Country Inn and Suites in Wilson NC. I will never stay with them again nor will I refer anyone to stay there. All my graham family do not book there for the family reunion next year. Their hotel general manager Jennifer whose last name is none of my business (her words not mine) and her son Keith who works there as well both treated me and my family like trash. I contacted choice corporate to file a complaint and ask for a refund of my stay and crazy business but they cant help other than offer me 10000 points. It's fine. Clustered with several other hotels just off route 95 in Wilson, NC with a number of fast food chains the rooms are clean and in decent condition. The hotels on the snowbird route get a lot of traffic and on 02-JAN, the day we stayed, there was no room at the inn so during peak times, book ahead. Check out is at noon, which is nice if you're not in a hurry to move on down the road. Staff was polite and helpful. The front desk clerk eas pleasant and gave approval when I questioned her about our restaurant choice. When stepping out to our floor I mentioned our room number to my wife and a housekeeper heard and politely gave us direction without us having to ask. This was only for the night as we were headed up the East Coast after a holiday vacation. I will say the rooms were very clean but very noisy floors. So if you don't like hearing noise above, you ask for the top floor. So nice that they're dog friendly and have tons of area around the hotel for letting them potty and run! However, there is no fenced in area for the dogs. The worst part about this hotel is the breakfast. The coffee was awful as were the eggs, the sausage and even the gravy for the biscuits. We started eating and ended up throwing it out. It was all tasteless. While a lot of hotels have a similar breakfast to this, I have been to some hotels which do a decent job at a mass breakfast like this. This wasn't one of them. So don't go for the breakfast. I travel from Ct to Fl once a year and I have been staying in this hotel for years. It’s clean and also pet friendly. I also love the fact that they give you free breakfast and it’s right off of 95. I will continue to stay in this hotel yearly. I have already recommended your hotel to friends and family
