Comfort Suites Wilson - I - 95

We has several issues staying the at the Comfort Suites in Wilson off of Raleigh rd. They claim that the room has queen-sized beds. But it's not. It's a full size bed.Two adults can't sleep on one bed. And they kept saying, is queen's size, like I don't know what I'm talking about. Yes I do! The remote control was something from the 90s trying to turn on a Google TV. Let's say it did not work and they couldn't find the remote for the TV. We try to call rhe front desk from the phone that was sitting in the room so we can directly call the front desk about the TV issue. Well, it did not work at all. If you’re looking for a great traveling overnight stop, this place fits that bill very well. Easy access at an exit that isn’t overwhelmed with traffic. Relatively quiet as it sits a block or two off the main road with plentiful parking. Room was typical of a value resort…comfortable bed and bedding, fridge and coffee maker, adequate bath. My only nit in our king room was that the space between the bed and the A/C unit made access to that side of the bed very difficult. Breakfast had lots of options - hot choices (that seemed a notch above the usual on our morning), waffle makers and a variety of pastries, cereals and fruits. While the hotel met many of my needs, it also failed in some of the important details. For the pros, reasonably priced rooms, quick and friendly check-in process, clean lobby, room was spacious and clean (for the most part), temperature was comfortable and room was quiet. For the cons, water in shower never got hot and was at best lukewarm, shower drain ran very slow so I was standing in my own dirty water up to my ankles, shower curtain rod curves up on both ends and shower curtain would not remain closed, went to use the provided hair conditioner in shower and it was empty (an easy detail if housekeeping was paying attention!), the selection of channels on the TV is really poor (perhaps fewest choices I’ve seen in any hotel chain), the internet takes forever to access, and finally, break

Absolutely terrible experience!!! We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, 1/8-1/12. We arrived late at night and first thing we noticed was the floor hadn't been swept or mopped, there was hair and dirt all over and you could see where something was spilled and was still sticky. In the bathroom, there were several long strands of hair stuck to the wall next the toilet. When it was time for our son to go to bed, we pulled out the sleeper sofa and was so disgusted. There were old dirty sheets still on it with hair all over them. And under the sofa was used Q-tips, food scraps and chewed up gum. It obviously hadn't been swept in a very long time. So he didn't even sleep on it that night. The next day, I spoke to Mandy at the front desk. She assured me the room would be cleaned that day. We re

One of the best value hotels in the area for sure. Very happy with price. However, hotel misses on some of the luxury of a higher priced hotel. Suggestions include take the stairs, the elevator is extremely slow and so is the Wi-Fi. No shampoo in the bottles located in the shower. The linoleum floors were a little sticky and dirty. Hotel is very family friendly as I could hear children throughout the hotel. Lobby was very clean and the breakfast area exceeded my expectations of a value hotel.
