Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wilson-Downtown by IHG

My family and I have stayed at several hotels in Wilson, NC and this one is by far the best. The staff is incredible, friendly, and accommodating. The breakfast options were great and fulfilling. The rooms were very spacious and comforting. Sometimes the elevator button was a little tricky to get it to respond, but it the elevator itself works well. The room was very clean and well decorated. The beds were very comfortable and came with a soft pillow as well as a firm pillow that were designated with embroidered pillowcases.

I rate this hotel as exceptional! Most importantly, the room was clean, comfortable, and well laid out. The property and parking lot felt safe. Andre at the front desk was super friendly and personable. He was truly a pleasure to chat with. The coffee was very good, and the breakfast options were more than I expected. Well done, staff and IHG!

This is the high standard I expect from Holiday Inn Express. They even have social activities. I didn't get to take advantage because I was in town for an all-day meeting. Family members will soon be moving to this area, and we will stay again when we come to visit them. There are plenty of restaurants within a short driving distance (walkable if you just want fast food). The rooms are clean and comfortable with nice amenities. I didn't use the TV, but I had no problems with the internet. My only issue was the water pressure in the shower was extremely low. It would've been a pain if I had had to wash my hair! Breakfast looked good, but I only came down for juice. I noticed that they didn't have decaf coffee at breakfast, so I made some in my room, and I also knew there would b

Due to the Raleigh State Fair and a big concert nearby, there weren’t any hotels available around the airport — my company found this one in Wilson, about an hour away. What started as a stressful situation turned into a great stay, thanks to Tonia and Shecole! Tonia checked me in with such warmth and kindness — her positive energy instantly helped me relax. She even made sure I had everything I needed without extra trips downstairs. The next morning, I met Shecole, who was just as friendly and welcoming. These two ladies truly made my stay memorable. Their genuine hospitality and great conversation reminded me what real customer service feels like. Bonus points: the hotel TVs have full cable, and the showers use Dove products — such a nice touch. I stayed here at the Holiday Inn Express from 7/28-9/26. I had a ruff start because they don't usually rent to local Wilson Residents. Once Mr. Hair released my situation he immediately instructed Mr. Audre to put me in a suite since I was going to be with them for a while. House keeping was touch and some days my room was cleaned. Meaning needing fresh linen and trash removal. Miss Shecole(her daughter), Miss Benita, Miss Monica Miss Maria, and Miss Denise when they cleaned my room it was spotless. The whole staff treated me and my family like family. The Breakfast every morning spoiled me and add some inches to my waistline in addition to the happy hour Tuesday-Thursday. The only down fall. My phone never worked in my room the entire stay. Other than that I will recommend to my family
