Holiday Inn Express & Suites Wichita Airport by IHG

I got a warm and courteous welcome from the front desk. A very honest and polite Richard Brown saved my wallet after i checked in. I enjoyed this stay with a clean and comfy room. I will be back for sure. I feel very fortunate to find good hotels and good people in my daily travels. Thank you Holiday Inn Express for hiring staff that cares.

This hotel was a level up price-wise to hotels we normally stay at. But the extra price was definitely worth the money. The king size suite was a great sized room for my wife and 2 youngest children. The shower was amazing. My wife commented how much she liked the mirror and lighting in the bathroom. The breakfast was well stocked and cared for. Very attentive staff!

Positive: "" Negative: Bate and switch. Called the hotel directly to inquire about “sleep and fly” program. Was told parking for 5 days was included in the room rate. But the desk clerk charges us an extra $30 for parking. Never stay there again on future trips from Wichita.

Do not stay here if you want a restful night sleep. I’m a diamond preferred member and this is probably one of the worst days I’ve ever had. The first room I was given was missing a TV. They didn’t have any rooms left so they had to give me a king size room instead of a room with two beds. The manager specifically Victor didn’t seem to care and was mocking me when I told him about the issue. There are much better places to stay in the area. In addition, this hotel shows a lot of ware. There was also a whole bunch of teenagers staying at this hotel when I was there running and being loud and that was not addressed. I asked for a room on a high floor away from the elevator. I was given a room on the 2nd floor right next to the elevator and you hear everything if you are near the elevator, th

Being a little worried about the area, we decided to stay at a Holiday Inn which are usually nice. The location is right by the airport and just off the interstate. It's near a bunch of restaurants too. It is near some questionable hotels and has a speakeasy a stones throw away. But we had no issues at all. Rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was decent. Plenty of options. Also had a little store if you need drinks and snacks. Staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend the place if you're in the area.
