Holiday Inn Express & Suites West Ocean City by IHG

All I have to say is keep up the great work!! The hotel and room was very clean, the entry area was warm, inviting and clean. Most of all I cannot say enough about the staff. They went out of their way to make you feel at home, thank you so much!

Positive: Hotel was very clean and smelled very good. Rooms were clean, staff were very pleasant, location was perfect Negative: Pool was coooooold, breakfast was not the greatest

In general, we have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express hotels and this was not exactly the top of the line. Our room was very disappointing. Old worn out furnishings and carpet. It felt very dirty and unkept. Very high beds which we don’t understand why. The shower curtain in the bath was cheap and the chrome bath fixtures and lamps kwere all old and pitted. TV picture kept fading from “warm to cold” and the channel surfing was very odd and difficult to use. The Staff seemed to ok but not the cream of the crop. The breakfast was pretty good. My suggestion, look for another hotel in the area that is cleaner and less run down. This place is severely struggling.

We were so delighted from the moment we checked in at the Holiday Inn Express in West Ocean City. The front desk staff was kind and friendly. We were checked in, in a timely manner and were up in our room in know time! Our room was clean and spacious. The pool was the best part, even open late! We had a blast! Finally, the breakfast was exceptional, so many choices, my kids were so happy! Thank you again Holiday Inn Express for a great getaway!

We had issues with our IHG points and were told all those rooms were booked despite a no black out. The ONLY REASON we stayed here was because it was Pet friendly . We we got here the clerk did upgrade us to a suite, and it was appreciated. The "suite" consisted of a love seat and a coffee table area . Anyway after driving 4.5 hours to get there our 8 y/o grandson had to use the men's room that was out of order . We were told at that time that the pool to was closed. Not off to a great start. We get to the room and there's a foot long hole in the carpet. Over looked all this because my grandson loves hotel life called dibs on the bed and was happy as can be.
