Econo Lodge Van Horn

I called and asked for a top floor room, because people make a lot of floor/ceiling noise that keeps me awake. The owner/lady said no problem. I get there she said she was going to put me on bottom floor and promised not to put anyone above me. Well, she outright lied. 9pm the noise began above me. This motel has about 46 rooms, there were about 8 cars in the parking lot. They didn't have a breakfast either, and I understand as she had no help. No one wants to work anymore. But she should discount the rooms $5 or so. Anyway, I won't be staying there anymore.

We have stayed here on multiple occasions and will continue to do so. Primary reason is 1) location and distance to our home in AZ, 2) personable and professional management, 3) pet allowance, and 4) very quiet, clean, and comfortable rooms. This is an ideal stopover along I10!

The staff couldn't have been nicer. They gave me a rate that was much less than the hotels immediately off the highway, and yet it was everything I wanted — a clean, safe place to sleep and freshen up.||||The room was perfectly clean and did not have a lingering smell of any kind (e.g. commercial cleaning agents). It had comfortable beds, a cold mini-fridge, the complimentary toiletries you would expect, and decent water pressure.||||After a good, quiet night's sleep, a well stocked breakfast was ready and waiting for me at the appointed time (7 AM). There were a variety of cold cereals, hot oatmeal, make-your-own waffles, as well as refrigerated hard boiled eggs and yogurt to grab-n-go with, and of course, coffee.||||Would I stay there again? Absolutely.

My mom and I needed a place to sleep for one night, and we found this Econolodge. Not only it was cost efficient for us, the front window service was fast and prompt in getting us a room. Inside the one bedroom was clean, cold from the AC (the way we like it), NO BUGS and put together well. If you don’t mind minimal patch work on the wall, this place is worth a stay on a budget.

A hidden gem. Quiet and clean. Great water pressure and hot water. Desk with office chair. Table with two chairs. Comfortable bed. Good lighting. This place is kind of out of the way, but truck stops and restaurants less than two miles away. No traffic. I've stayed here a couple times. It's a go to nights rest for me when I'm passing through.
