Holiday Inn Express & Suites Shreveport - Downtown by IHG

Good breastfast, convenient location, snacks, and friendly customer service. my fiance and I stayed three nights here for a little getaway on valentine's wknd. they served cookies and popcorn in the lobby every day. We were always greeted and the staff was very helpful. i had read to stay away from the area by the airport and closer to bossier. it was a convenient location and we felt safe our entire stay.

Positive: The staff is exceptionally friendly & helpful. The breakfast quality & quantity outstanding. Kudos to the biscuit & gravy chef. Love the Dove brand soap & lotion products. Negative: Bathroom toilet seat missing a screw.

The hotel is located right off the interstate. The common areas were very clean and neat and the front desk attendant was extremely nice and helpful upon check-in. The breakfast had many choices. The hotel does seem older. While the beds were very comfortable and seemed to be newer, the room it self seemed older. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls all over the place, partly due to the humidity in the room. The sofa and chaise were very dirty and stained and did not seem to be cleaned. The water never got hot in the shower. It seems like this hotel is used by workers, so there were lots of trucks and men hanging around. Very strong smell of marijuana at times. The main elevator was out and the pool was green and not at all accessible.

We were here for 3 nights 4 days and it was great 😀 The Extire staff was GREAT Very Friendly! Was greeted and helped by each shift. The front desk aids and the kitchen especially. Breakfast was a great variety and staff was always cleaning making sure it was nice and hot and filled. Our room was vary spacious. And the beds were very comfy. Pillows were fluffy and were given extra blankets and towels when asked. It was quiet relaxing and peaceful:) Our family had a great time

I had a comfortable stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I appreciated having a fridge and microwave, and the breakfast was outstanding—delicious, a great variety, and everything was hot and fresh. The only downsides were the bathroom, which showed signs of multiple repairs with patches and missing wallpaper, and the coffee maker that didn’t work. Overall, a good stay with excellent breakfast, but the bathroom could use some updates.
