Customer Reviews
Horrible - Got Kicked out of this hotel by the House keeping staff. Knocked 3 times from 930-11am after being told still here the first 2 times. Check out time is clearly 11am Have 160+ nights with IHG yearly and this has never happened. There seems to be a lack of training. Attaching photo of the check out time so the staff could be retrained Outdated - TV in Room 307 has white spots all over it. TV’s are cheap these days to have for quality for hotel guests. There other great hotels in the area. Even if you are loyal with IHG look elsewhere
Friendly staff, good breakfast. I was a bit concerned about the height of the bed as I am only 5'4 and actually had to step on a rolling stool to get up on the bed. Just a note for future remodel, please don't add a platform to increase the height of the bed, that could be a costly liability.
Positive: Comfortable bed and pillows, clean, modern, and 4 minutes from the Creel House! Negative: ""
This lady that usually works day shift is a pain in the butt for absolutely no reason. Every other person that works the front desk has good customer service but her. I can almost guarantee she saw my beautiful brown skin and immediately got agitated. She was talking to a white lady before me with a smile but as soon as it was my turn, immediate attitude and aggression. Ma'am, I just walked in here. I personally hope she is fired or finds another position than the front desk. I've visited this hotel atleast 3 times over the past year due to my military orders being out of state. And she is always a problem. I chose to cancel my reservation just so I dont have to deal with her. She is VERY BAD for business.
Our stay was very comfortable. The room was clean. The bathroom had a few baseboard tile issues, but most hotels do. The front desk lady on 3/30 was extremely helpful and sympathetic to our situation, being in town for my brother’s funeral. We were able to get late check-out at 1pm, which allowed us to recover from the viewing the day before, take our time packing up, and letting us prepare for the funeral that day at 2pm. We would have had nowhere to go between regular checkout and the funeral time, so we deeply appreciated the gesture. The breakfast was really good and the offerings changed both days. I would recommend this hotel to people staying in the area.
