Courtyard by Marriott Rome Riverwalk

Far from a good experience at this hotel. Staff were unfriendly, not helpful, and borderline rude every experience with them. Breakfast and Starbucks was closed due to the low occupancy.(no warning or notice anywhere of this. I don’t imagine a hotel in Rome GA ever has a high occupancy lol) Rooms were dirty. Dropped my child’s bottle so had to look under the bed. Trash, wrappers, chapstick, and food were all under the bed. We stayed for 3 days and didn’t once have our room cleaned. Never even saw anybody with a cart to clean rooms lol.

I was in the ballroom for my class reunion. It was very nice. Once all the table and chairs got set up, along with the DJ booth, there was not much room for a dance floor. We made it work. The food was delicious and the service was exceptional. I would recommend this place for an event. As for the rooms, I can’t say. I never stayed in one. Overall I give it a 4 Star!🥳😀😄

I was greeted warmly and with sincere smiles when I arrived. The pre-check in the day before was simple, and I didn't have to wait for my key. The room was spacious, clean, bright, and comfortable. I had what I needed during my time away from home. The bed is very comfortable and I slept soundly. I got coffee in the morning from the café, and the staff there was just as friendly. I enjoyed my stay and appreciate the care that the Marriott Riverwalk shows to their guests.

Well… trying to be nice on a budget? This is exactly that. Room is spacious BUT more space means more hidden. Under the bed there was wrappers, chapstick, food, bottle vape juice? And other questionable items. They offer breakfast (that we paid for) but didn’t even offer it due to “low occupancy” They obviously don’t Vaccum or clean well. Save your $$$ stay at a La Quinta. Probably cleaner and better.

Desiree was the absolute best! Marriott you need to take special care of this employee!! Phenomenal customer service and was so kind and helpful. The rooms were excellent and seemed very new. Beds and couches were very comfortable. Excellent lobby and bar area as well. Would give 6 stars if I could. Thank you Desiree!!!
