Holiday Inn Express & Suites Perry by IHG

I wish that I could recall the name of the woman who checked us in, I thought I had written it down, but believe it was Toni or Terry. So many hotels don’t understand when you tell them that you found them on booking.com but that you have not booked on that site, but that you are just aware of the price that you can expect to pay for a room. T did it one better when I said that I thought that we were IHG loyalty members. She was quickly able to find out that we were not, but also efficiently signed us up for the program, thereby giving us a rate that was even better than that that we had found on Booking. Booked in the app, we were traveling north on US 19 between Christmas & New Year's. Property was as expected, but difficult to find as the sign by the road has not been replaced since the hurricanes. You should know that the food service in Perry is limited to fast food and grocery stores. We were moved from the end of the hall to a mid-corridor room because "it looked like I was a female traveling alone" although the reservation said 2 adults. The common areas had an overpowering odor of Fabuloso - which is good because it's clean, but the smell was too strong. We were disappointed in the shower - it was NOT "the" showerhead that we were expecting. Our stay was excellent. Terry at front desk services went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Room was clean and updated, bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was the usual good Holiday Inn start to our day. Will definitely stay here again!

When you need an overnight stop in the area around Perry, Florida, don’t even hesitate – choose this hotel! Reasonably priced, very clean and fresh – the room, the common areas and the outside pool - even the parking area! The morning complementary breakfast buffet had everything needed, loved the mini omelet, French toast and sausages – even hot fresh cinnamon rolls! The staff was very friendly and helpful. We have found a new “lay-over” on our way to south Florida!

I want to say this has to be one of the best hotels to stay at. Very friendly staff, very clean rooms, and a breakfast worth sticking around for. Sam one of the managers always has my room ready the moment I come though the door. Making you feel welcome.
