Holiday Inn Express & Suites Oxford by IHG

I had a very disappointing and frustrating experience at this hotel. During my stay, I discovered a bed bug in my room after waking up with multiple bites, which was extremely unsettling and unacceptable. Robert was very helpful he urgently moved me to another room. Instead of handling the situation with urgency and concern, management was very poor. I sent an email regarding the bed bug issue, and it was simply read with no real follow-up or proper response. The manager never came to speak with me directly, which showed a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. On top of that, several appliances in the room were not working, adding to the inconvenience. I was also told that the washer and dryer were down, which was especially frustrating considering I needed to wash my belon

We stayed January 7, 2025. |The bed was VERY comfortable and we got to sleep easily, but got woke up at 4:00am to smoke detectors going off, there was no fire anywhere and it was hard to get back to sleep. There was no coffee pot in our room, the phone in our room didn't work, breakfast was lukewarm and they didn't have the omelets and turkey sausage that was advertised on their site. There was water dripping from the ceiling in the kitchen and a ladder there with ceiling junk all over the floor that we watched while we were eating. Front desk staff was very nice so that was the plus. Probably won't stay at this location again- have had better experiences at other Holiday Inns.

It was a pretty good stay. FD at checkin was fair. The lady that was there welcomed me as a Platinum member and will add my welcome pts. She didn't seem to know much about what's in the rooms such as couch, or where the office chair and desk is. I wasn't told about any amenities they had there either. However,, the older lady on 7-3 was nice. Didn't have any issues with the room. Housekeeping came in on my 2nd night and cleaned the room. Thank you for that! This is also only HIE I've ever seen a fan in the ceiling! Also, surprised you guys only have 1 elevator? Breakfast was exceptional. Didn't see any cinnamon rolls or bacon, which cinnamon rolls are a HIE signature! Other than that, cookie hour and pool with a hottub would've been nice. Why no pets too?

This was a nice quiet stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was hot and fresh. The rooms were clean and well kept. Nice work!

Excellent customer service from Chad. We had issue with no ESPN due to contract issues between cable company and Disney so we couldn’t watch ncaa football championship. We were pleased with everything else as Chad was patient with me and handled everything professionally.
