Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ocean City - Northside by IHG

Very good hotel overall (7.6/10). Stayed 1 night in April. Good size room. Everything worked as it should, although it would have been nice had the fridge been plugged in. Very good bed, but a little squeaky. Shower was ok. For me the best spray setting was between two actual settings. The shower curtain has a weird lop sided design. TV was good but in my opinion too big for the room. Good selection of channels with a scrolling guide. Breakfast was very good (for context, I'm satisfied with a bowl of cereal or some toast). Staff were good. Parking was good. I would stay again, as for the price paid ($60 total for a Sunday) it was great value (for context, prices are low on weeknights at that time of year in Ocean City).

There was good for most everything. And some things I wished for. First off, thanks so much to the front desk staff for putting us far from the elevators like we wanted, but not so far that we were near the ice machine room. : ). |Either the ice machine or the ac unit at the end of the hall was noisy, so thanks for not putting us all the way away from the elevators !|What I wished for was a newer mattress. Mine was worn and sagged. The dead bolt lock was difficult to lock and noisy doing so. |We had a bay view room and wished the beds were on the opposite side of the room so laying in bed, you’d see the bay We saw a roof top and some buildings next door. We had a wonderful 2-nights stay at Holiday Inn Ocean City Northside. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Location is great as well. I want to specially thank the staff for making our stay comfortable. The front desk ladies were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast options were good and were never out even at busier times. Kudos to the lady taking care of the breakfast; she was very efficient, polite and helpful. We also enjoyed the indoor pool on one evening when it was getting into summer-like weather already. There is also an outdoor pool which was closed for obvious reasons (still mid april). But the fact they have both an indoor and an outdoor pool is great! We will surely visit again when we are at Ocean City, MD again. Thank you!

This Holiday Inn in Ocean City was actually really nice overall. The rooms were clean and looked practically brand new. Even though the building itself is older, they’ve clearly done a great job updating everything. There’s still a bit of that musty smell you get with older hotels, but it wasn’t too bad or overwhelming. The bathrooms were spotless, which I appreciated. The only downside was the staff. I asked for an extra blanket, and they told me they were out, but then I watched someone else ask a few minutes later, and they gave them one. That honestly annoyed me. The complimentary breakfast was okay. Some items were pretty bad, but the cinnamon rolls were amazing and definitely the highlight. The rest was edible, just not great. There’s both an indoor and outdoor pool, which is awesome

Not my first time visiting Ocean City but this 8s the first time I stay in this facility because I wanted to experience what other hotels have to offer. The lady at the front desk let me check in earlier which is very nice. I drove hours to come in town for a conference. I would have waited 3hours before checking in so that early checking gave me time to rest a bit and refresh. I appreciate that. The hotel seems to be quiet which is what I need right now. The room is spacious and the bed is comfy. Got a fridge and a microwave inside. There are some restaurants around.. I will check them later..
