Holiday Inn Express & Suites Lincoln City by IHG

We decided to try out the Holiday Inn Express in Lincoln City and were disappointed with our stay. To be fair, some of the issues we had were out of the control of the Hotel, while others were. The biggest issue was that for our four day stay we had the WORST water pressure I've ever experienced during our entire stay. The shower and sink barely worked and the water would cut off completely multiple times while in the shower. After talking to the front desk I was told that they had a power issue which caused the issue, and that they were sure management would take care of us after our stay with a good discount on our room. Upon checking out I inquired about what discount we were getting and was told that the hotel manager would reach out to us soon. Over a week later we are still waiting.

Positive: "" Negative: The jets in the hot tub didn't work (not that big of deal), but the breakfast was kind of disappointing. They were out of milk, out of oatmeal, the pancake machine didn't work. The floors were really sticky pretty much everywhere you walked.

The property was clean and appeared well-maintained. Our room was a spacious two-queen suite, equipped with a small fridge, microwave, Keurig, and a gas fireplace. When we first entered, there was a faint, musty smell coming from the air conditioner. It was noticeable but not overpowering.||The location is in a somewhat residential area, but it's a short walk to a grocery store, restaurants, and fast food. The beach is also just two blocks away. We felt safe walking back to the hotel after dinner.||Our room was generally quiet, though we could hear people walking in the room above us. I booked a one bedroom suite. It said there was a separate bedroom but it was just an L shaped room. Bedroom was divided from main room by a see through gas fireplace that did not work. Other things that did not work include Coffee pot Bed side Power plugs Pull out bed was uncomfortable and had no sheets or bedding or pillows. We had to ask for them. Elevator was so slow No place left to sit at breakfast and coffee was empty Old Sock left under the couch Very disappointing and I have always been impressed with Holliday Inn.

This is one of the best holiday inn Express we have stayed at. My husband and I are Diamond Elite members - we stay 70+ nights per year around the globe. We were impressed. We were greeted, and acknowledged by status. Our room was upgraded. It was the cleanest hotel I have ever seen. Jeremy B was the housekeeper for our room, and I have never seen such a shiny bathroom. They have a designated pet area - not many pet friendly hotels offer this. We recieved complimentary water upon arrival, and the Front Office Manager (Kayla I think?) was incredibly accommodating. We would 100% recommend and stay here again. Excellent hotel.
