The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and sleep came easily, guided by the Force itself. The room was clean, modern, and thoughtfully laid out, with a room safe included for added peace of mind. The Greener Stay option earns extra respect here. When staying multiple nights, it rewards you with 500 bonus points per night—an excellent incentive for travelers who like to tread lightly while earning a little extra along the way. As a transit hotel for one night its almost ideal. Big rooms, very good breakfast, which is unusual for the USA. Not noisy, free very big parking. Breakfast starts at 7am during weekends and at 6am week days. I would suggest making it 6am always. The only downside is the floor in our room was not very clean. Price is good if you book it in quite an advance with no cancellation option. I do recommend this one, if price is good for you and its just in a transit. Keep in mind thats nothing around.

We stayed a couple of nights at the HIEX near Fort Myers airport. Our focus was on visiting local state parks and beaches. Most of our destinations were within 30 min which made it very convenient. The hotel is on the new side. We were in a king suite which gave us the extra space we needed with a baby. The room and hotel were clean. The breakfast was excellent and had a ham and veggie omelet I have not seen at other HIEXs before. It was particularly good! My only gripes were minor: the room was very musty upon arrival and the toilet did not flush well. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay!

The hotel itself overall was clean and nice, but this wouldn't be our first choice when coming back to stay in the Fort Myers area. Our room had a caramel-y/sickenly sweet smell the entire time we stayed there that wouldn't go away no matter what we tried. The shower got cold if someone was washing their hands at the same time it was on, it smelled outside the building like perfume, and the pancake machine for breakfast was broken and the other available food options were limited. This was a nice area and we felt safe walking around outside.

I had a wonderful week at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Fort Myers Airport! The hotel is spotless and feels new — everything is very clean and well-maintained. The rooms are modern, the beds are extremely comfortable, and I slept so well every night. The breakfast was excellent — rich, varied, and fresh, with plenty of choices for everyone. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming, and I want to give special thanks to Jai at the front desk, who was super helpful, kind, and always smiling. Another great feature is the hotel shuttle service — it took us to nearby restaurants and came to pick us up when we called. Such a convenient and thoughtful service for guests! Overall, I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area!
