Holiday Inn Express & Suites Destin E - Commons Mall Area by IHG

Location is near the beach, parking is easy and seems adequate, though it was not very crowded when I was here. On the morning after our first night, staff knocked on the door because the room directly below us was flooded… They needed to know if we had any problems, which we did not. However, our shower had recently been used… indicating some significant plumbing problem. Food is as expected for this chain… the breakfast and coffee were good. For the most part, staff seemed courteous at the desk… Housekeeping in the hallways was not designed to impress. Also… Amazingly… If you are an early riser… say 5 o’clock in the morning or so… You are NOT ALLOWED to sit in the common area where breakfast is served… (Even though it is totally empty, and there are no workers cleaning, preparing, etc

Positive: We loved the convenience of this hotel, good location. The room was spacious and we had everything we needed. Negative: Walls seemed very thin and it was quite noisy from other guests rooms and the hallway.

Always the place to go. Great location because it has Peppers the Mexican food joint next door that offers up some great beers. The rooms are always clean. Breakfast is pretty decent and customer service is always outstanding. Being a IHG member just makes this place a staple every time I visit Destin, Fl.

From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to every detail. The room was spotless, beautifully furnished, and offered a stunning view. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel amenities were top-notch—everything from the well-equipped gym to the serene spa and the delicious breakfast buffet. The location was perfect, close to major attractions yet peaceful and quiet. Special thanks to the concierge team for helping us with great local recommendations. This hotel truly goes above and beyond. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent condition and location! The room was very clean, neat and beds were comfortable. The hot and cold breakfast was awesome! They had potatoes, pancakes, oatmeal, muffins, bread items and meat. It was walking distance to the Crystal beach as well as Destin Commons mall. The beach had free parking. Beautiful place to stay.
