Friends of Emerald Coast State Parks

Best state park, camping is great now they have updated all sites with sewer connections new electric poles and water. People here are so friendly and helpful! Starting February 1 you'll have to get a reservations to enter the park. They will do it by parking spaces what we were told.

We went Family with kid and it was really fun day. Park has kids place area, short 0.3 nature trail , very clean shelters for picnic area to eat and a calm, cool beach. Entrance is $6 per car which is definitely worth. Strongly recommend this place.

The park definitely deserves 5 stars BUT there is a helicopter tour near it that flies two helicopters what seemed like nonstop from 10am to late in the evening right over the park, other than that this is a beautiful park to stay in, camp spots are enormous and private will definitely go back. Surf fishing was excellent along with a chartered boat.

This was definitely the highlight of our trip. After finding no parking space at Miramar beach we decided to head here. We paid $6 for the admission and once we got inside there were plenty of spaces. The people at the gate were extremely friendly and warned us about the jellyfish. If you visit Destin this is a "Must Go". Be sure to bring goggles to see the fish.

Beautiful place and extremely clean and well maintained. Easily worth $2.00. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back.
