Holiday Inn Express & Suites Columbia-I-26 @ Harbison Blvd by IHG

This is an older HI Express, so it's a little rough around the edges, but basically clean with comfortable beds. The rooms are of good size equipped with plenty of towels, a coffee maker, a microwave, and a small fridge. There is a large screen TV, which was nice, but only basic channels. The front desk was friendly and accommodating. The price was reasonable Unfortunately after checking out the breakfast options, I need to downgrade my review. The pancake/waffle machine was broken, and I was told they were out of their famous cinnamon rolls after a busy weekend. Honestly, this made me change my mind about visiting again. Was it too much to expect a well stocked breakfast on a Monday?

Had reservations and upon arrival, just didn’t like atmosphere outside or inside. The hotel is due for a complete renovation. The employee who checked us in was giggling with another employee? When going to room, one elevator wasn’t working. When we checked out room, sheets, pillowcases and shower curtain were very wrinkled. The A/C heater unit was filthy and decided we didn’t want to breathe the air overnight. We left without asking for refund.

Exceptional hospitality during a family travel emergency! We cannot thank the team at this Holiday Inn Express enough. We are currently on a long road trip from Florida to Michigan with our family and experienced a scary mechanical issue with our van. The staff here went above and beyond by granting us a gracious extended checkout so we could get our vehicle repaired without being stranded or rushed. Their kindness turned a high-stress situation into a manageable one. The rooms were great, but the service and empathy from the staff are what truly set this place apart. Highly recommend!

I've been staying at this property for work weekly for the last two months. The location and rooms are perfect for quick stays. I do want to single out a few individuals that have made my stays more enjoyable. LP at the check in desk at night has a great personality and is very welcoming. Taylor also at the front desk at night and the morning has remembered me by name and always has a positive demeanor. Donna at breakfast in the mornings has been super welcoming and makes sure everyone's day starts off right. Overall great experience and will be staying here anytime business takes me to Columbia.

I came to visit family and friends. I was able to complete all task from this convenient location. Dining out, holiday shopping, and family fun all in this convenient location. Harbison is chaotic on Saturdays, so I made sure to have my patience sweater on when entering the area. Check-in was smooth and pleasant. The front desk representative was very pleasant to speak with while checking me in. She, too, was very knowledgeable and understanding of the property. Everyone I saw was doing there part in keeping the property accommodating for guests, clean, safe, and secure. Their presence and care is greatly appreciated.
