Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bellevue (Omaha Area) by IHG

Positive: I like the cleanliness and customer service at the Holiday Inn Expresses. The free breakfast and coffee is also appreciated. Negative: I miss the pre COVID automatic daily visits from the cleaning staff. I don't know if hotels anymore have the support staff to accomplish the task. During my four night stay I twice notified the front desk about the TV in my room not getting a signal.

This would have been a perfect score but management clearly are trying to nickel and dime everyone and everything. Even though it was 85F outside, they had no air conditioning on in the hotel, so the lobby and hallways were boiling hot. You could turn your in-room unit to whatever temperature you liked, so we had ours as low as possible, just to ensure our comfort since hotel management had switched all of the hallway and other units off. Staff were sweltering, with only a box fan, and the outdoors was actually cooler than it was inside! I also noted there were a dozen signs for staff right at the check-in area, showing they did not trust their staff and making the space look very unprofessional for guests. They were literally standing over the front desk staff as they tried to check us in

Very convenient location for business or touring the area. Staff was outstanding and very friendly. Room and common areas were spotless and well maintained. Coffee in the lobby is always fresh since they have brew-a-cup machines.

They need to rename this dump "Bed Bug Inn and Express" because that's exactly what it is. My daughter was just there and her roommates found bed bugs. They did inform the front desk and showed them photographic evidence and YET they appeared rather unbothered by this. They were moved rooms, but not refunded and no apologies. I have attempted THREE times to contact the general manager and called the number left on my daughter's reply from the owner. I also reached out to the front desk in desperation and this lady stated she was not informed of any bed bug issues. Horrible customer service and horrible health safety awareness. So, if you are wanting to snuggle up with some bed bugs, you're in luck because this ramshackle dump has plenty to go around!! Sleep tight and let the bed bugs bite!

holy freaking bed bugs. do not come here. two of my roommates were laying in the beds and an hour later one saw a bug moving. they were on both of the beds. im terrified. not to mention, the lobby lady was very chill about the whole thing. didn’t even say sorry or anything. we got a new room, but im still scared. help.
