Baymont by Wyndham Bellevue/Omaha

Location isn't to bad, the hotel has a u haul dealer office attached. You check in via kiosk, dont expect a decent breakfast, the milk was expired, no waffle batter, no juice. Only coffee or water. Room wasnt to bad upon arrival, there could be adjustments made, like the deadbolt doesn't work on the doors, the main room door and the adjoining room door. Lighting was good, plenty of outlets. BUT I kept getting bit by something when the stylish comforter was on the bed, I had to keep it off the bed, I did an inspection and I didn't see any bed bugs but I got bit 4 times, 3 in a row on my side/hip, and once one my leg. My partner didn't get any bites that we could see or he could feel. So I am not sure if its something to do with the comforter or the bed itself.

This place is dismal. The first room was absolutely disgusting: hair in the bathroom in several places, washable graffiti left over on mirrors, fingerprints and wipe marks covering mirrors, torn-apart curtains providing little to no privacy.. people definitely smoking cigarettes in their rooms. The “upgraded room” is only slightly less gross; and surprise, the AC/Heat doesn’t work. The room is absolutely boiling, and the door looks halfway functioning. The toilet is hardly attached to the floor… Hard to complain to a kiosk agent who can’t see for themselves just how bad this place is. Don’t do it. Your response was to alert staff. WE DID. We spoke to the kiosk individual… the only person there. If you tried to call the front desk, good luck, phones didn’t work in either room. Additions

It was hard to find with all the road construction. No one at the desk, had to use the kiosk to check in. They put us on the second floor, I had camera equipment I didn't want to leave in the car. No 6 so had to take 3 trips up and down the stairs to get my gear to the room. After we unloaded gear in the room, we left for dinner. 3 doors 2 police officers were knocking on the door. The room.... the toilet seat is so loose, it feels like you're going to fall off, the sink is cracked and barely drains, the vents in the bathroom are rusted, the towels look like they're used and the door to the room has been kicked in. You can almost push the door open when it's locked from the outside. Don't feel safe or able to leave my equipment in the room. The smell in the room is very musky! |We have

This is NOT a 3-star hotel as advertised, which was not expected. There is no elevator. The room amenities (tv, furniture) are up to standard; doors and curtains could be replaced. The bathroom was dirty, sink hanging off the wall. Caulking at the base of the toilet was pulled away; mold in corners of floor. Sink splatter from previous guests on the walls - looked like toothpaste. If one is not in and out during a road-trip, the price is right. We did not look for the breakfast. Wyndham should I more closely inspect their properties, even budget properties.
