Holiday Inn Express Augusta Downtown by IHG

Wouldve given 5 stars, but the shower water only gets warm and both shower heads run at the same time, you cant turn one off. Room is absolutely amazing. Bed was extremely comfortable. Ive had issues lately with waking up in pain, but after sleeping on this bed, i woke up pain free! Room is stocked nicely and was so glad it had a microwave! Definitely would recommend the stay here

Our experience at the hotel was outstanding. We held a large family event and the hotel was perfect for our needs. They worked with us to obtain a room block and reasonable nightly rate for the rooms. With over 10 rooms booked we were able to secure a meeting room to host our family. Kailyn in sales was very professional and responsive to our planning requests. The location was near all of the events we had planned for the weekend and in fact in most cases we were able to walk to the venue. The parking was free and the parking lot was well lit. Because we had a multi generational event, the free breakfast was a big hit because people could come down at their leisure to eat - what was actually a very good offering. Per the night auditor on duty, General Manager Boatwright instructed staff not to check in guests after a certain hour. My friend arrived shortly after 2:00 a.m. and was informed that the original reservation had been canceled and marked as a no-show. That determination, in itself, was understood and not contested. What followed, however, was far more troubling. They did not ask for the original reservation to be reinstated. They willingly agreed to pay for a new reservation. Nevertheless, they were told that no guests were permitted to check in after a certain time, regardless of circumstance. This policy was entirely unfamiliar to me, and if it is indeed an official policy its absence from your IHG property website is deeply concerning. At minimum, such a restriction should be clearly d

Pleasant surprise! Renovated adequately, not imaculate, but makes a difference.- major stuff done but they forgot the trim Staff is friendly- kim at breakfast was hosting! Room- they are huge and was clean, bathtub is old so its not visually appealing- but the rest of the bathroom is updated and was great- toilet itself is also old Parking is free and gated Breakfast is good- shoutout ms Kim- cheese egg, sausage, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, cereal, pancake station, cinnamon rolls and bread, yorghut, juice, tea, and coffee.- now they only have coffee-mate creamer but they also have milk.

Positive: There were a lot of loud people here when we stayed. They did quiet down about 10/10:30. Negative: People that were on our floor were very loud.
