The check-in process was seamless. The representative was very welcoming and provided great details about the hotel. The breakfast selection was typical, and we enjoyed it. What we enjoyed most was that takeout plates along with a bag were offered so we could pack our food and eat in our room. The dining area was set up for the holidays. Our room was clean; however, the bathroom smelled horrible upon arrival—it smelled like sewage water. We had to purchase Lysol and spray it everywhere in the bathroom. The elevator also gave a slight jolt when entering or exiting, which was a little scary and definitely not normal. Overall, I would recommend and definitely stay again!

Doris, Marcy and Cameron are absolute gems! I’ve stayed a few weekends in October and they treated me with care. Doris was so good my 7 year tried to tip with his allowance money after breakfast. The hotel is clean, lots of amenities. My son loved the heated indoor pool, while my husband enjoyed the bar. There was one other employee, I can’t remember her name, but she greets my family with a warm smile everytime we enter and exit.

I was staying in town to visit family. The room was very clean and cozy. The bathroom was very clean and bright. I had zero issues with the room. The breakfast may be the best free breakfast I’ve ever had at a hotel: real eggs, crispy bacon, grits, and yummy French toast! Everyone was very friendly, from the front desk to the cleaning crew to the kitchen staff to the dining room staff. She brought me orange juice and coffee and made sure I didn’t need anything. Make sure to bring cash for a tip for them! They worked hard!

My husband and I stayed here from 10/24/25-10/25/25. There are some issues that I would like to address that would help to improve the satisfaction of your guests' stay in the near future. First of all, our room was not freshly cleaned when we arrived. There was a lingering, musty odor and it was also dusty. I am not sure if a dog had been in the room or not but it is a good idea to have guests with animals confined on the same floor. If the room has been unoccupied for some time, it is never good to assume that it doesn't need to be tidy up before the next guest. In addition, we have eaten at several buffets but never at a hotel where we had to purchase our drinks separately?! This was unexpected and inconvenient. My family and I had the best experience here and I am so glad we chose this hotel! We are on a long road trip with a toddler and baby and decided last minute to call it a night and saw a bunch of hotels off the exit we were coming up to. We first turned into the best western and I did not like the vibe. It seemed vacant and was dark and I couldn’t see anyone at the front desk so we went across the street to the holiday inn. Very well lit and looked renovated. I knew it would be more expensive but it was SO WORTH IT. Only a little more expensive maybe $20-$30 and they had an incredible free continental breakfast that morning. You could take to go or sit down and be served drinks while you got the buffet. All of the employees were so sweet and accommodating. We all slept great too. It was a
