Historic Inn

I had my concerns based on older reviews. Upon initially pulling up to the property, I was still unsure. But I quickly found that the hotel was very nice for a budget option. The room was clean and quiet. I only had two issues. The first one being ghost ants at the sink. They weren’t present the whole time, but I did see a number of them on multiple occasions. The second being the comforter felt old. The sheets themselves were fine. Having St. George street within walking distance was a huge plus. Also Sarbez next door had live music and great food. If you’re looking for a place to stay on a budget, Historic Inn is it.

NICE PLACE - DON’T GO BY THE OLD REVIEWS! ||Hotel was apparently sold a year or 3 ago and completely remodeled. Disregard any negative reviews, the hotel has done a complete 180 since they were written. Nice clean rooms, friendly owners. I have nothing but positive things to say. The room was spotless. Bed was comfy. Rates were reasonable. We will definitely come back and stay again next time we are in St.Augustine

The Inn has real charm and comfort, but it was the hospitality that really stood out. I stopped into the cigar bar and the restaurant right across the street, and both places made me feel completely welcome—like I was part of the community, not just a visitor. The concert was fantastic, and to make it even easier, the parking center offered a free shuttle to and from the venue. Seems newly renovated; nice location, 15 minute walk to Old Town. We arrived early and was able to check in, escorted to room and air turned on for us. I did, however, encounter some ghost ants (normal for FL) but wasn't a deal breaker. Beds were comfortable. Wasn't a fan of the supplied shampoo/conditioner, so if you prefer your own be sure to bring it. Also, very disrespectful having that torn American flag at your establishment....needs to be changed

Great location within walking distance of the bridge into historic St. Augustine. Plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance as well. The hotel room was clean and well-stocked with complimentary water bottles, coffee, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even toothbrushes and toothpaste. The gentleman who checked us in was friendly and helpful, and he even escorted us to our room to show us where everything was. The only downside was that I could hear noise from the people in the room above me, and early in the morning I could hear a good bit of traffic, as the hotel is right on the main road. Great place to stay as long as you aren't a light sleeper. The parking lot is also a bit small. I was lucky enough to get one of the last spots available, but I imagine that they s
