Hilton Vacation Club The Cove on Ormond Beach

This was a wonderful place to stay! It was a small condo style apartment with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. The living room had a balcony where you could sit and watch the ocean. The apartment was very clean and nice. I was given a discount card to a restaurant across the street, which I used and was very good. The restaurant had an outdoor dining area which was relaxing and enjoyable in the evening for dinner. Overall, this was a great place to stay, right on the beach with a great pool area.

The hotels are under a pretty major renovation. There is no outdoor pool or hot tub. They are being replaced. There is a ping pong table and a computer and that's about it for amenities. There isn't any outside space that can used except a small path to the beach. There are chairs and umbrellas on the beach . Resort it is not. The rooms have a nice kitchen.

Positive: The rooms are cozy. Negative: Well they didn't have our room we booked available upon arrival. We booked ocean front but got one on the rooms on the side of the building with a balcony so you could see the ocean but not what I thought I paid for. Secondly one of the TVs didn't work

We stayed in a 2 bedroom in the north tower for a week. We were fully prepared for the pool and beach access to be unavailable so we were pleasantly surprised that everything was open. Parking was always available behind the north building so that wasn't an issue for us. While the rooms in the north building do not have in-room washer and dryer, there was a washer and dryer that was free to use on our floor. The room itself was clean and nicely furnished. The air conditioning in our room was leaking and maintenance worked on it at one point during our stay. It began leaking again right before we left. Not a big deal to us and maintenance is quick to respond to issues. We also really liked the location. We were able to walk to some shops and restaurants which was nice and the area is quiet.

The staff were incredible! They even replaced our king size bed after our request. The rooms were very clean, though a bit dated. We adore Ormond so loved walking the quieter beaches in the winter.
