Customer Reviews
Very disappointing experience. My boyfriend is a Gold member and we paid more than $200 per night, so we expected a much better level of service and comfort for that price. On top of the room rate, the hotel charges a resort fee and $27 per night for parking. What was especially frustrating is that there is no option to park for free at all. The only parking available is paid parking. With all these extra fees, the stay becomes significantly more expensive than expected. The room we were given is far from the lobby, and the “queen size” bed feels extremely small, almost like a twin. I recently injured my neck while snowboarding, so we politely asked if it was possible to move to a room with a king-size bed so I could rest more comfortably. Unfortunately, we were told management would not a
The property itself was great. Rooms are small but clean. Property is right on the lake. Staff was nice and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.||We did have a hard time getting our room confirmed until 2 days prior which was very stressful but that wasn't the resorts fault
Positive: Great room. Well stocked with all necessities. Friendly and helpful staff. Negative: There is a raised tile divider between the bathroom and hallway. It hurts to step on it. Would be better if it were rounded instead of looking like a 1 x 4 plank. Parking is a bit expensive. Especially since I couldn't find a single space on Sat. night.
Location is great. Ther is ample shuttle service available. Staff is very friendly and promptly handles requests. I give the rooms a 3 because the kitchen is tiny with zero counter space. It is very difficult to cook if you have a family. Kitchen is not well equipped and next to no storage if youare buying food to cook. Beds are very comfortable though! No smart TV, so bring a laptop and hdmi cable or connect your phone via hdmi if you want to stream anything.
I stay in South Lake Tahoe often, and this was one of the most disappointing hotel experiences I’ve had here, especially for the price. This property is one of the more expensive places to stay in South Lake, yet the room felt dated, old, and nowhere near worth the cost. The bed felt small and the overall room felt tired and underwhelming. I’m also a Hilton Gold member and my status was essentially ignored. The room assigned to me was the farthest possible location from the front desk, even though the hotel appeared half empty. When I asked about other room options, I was told management requires that any change or upgrade be charged. That pretty much explains the attitude toward guests here. You’re forced to use expensive valet parking, and on top of that you’ll still be charged resort
