Hilton St. Louis Airport

Excellent customer service from the front desk staff, ample parking available in their parking lot, conveniently close to the airport and there are plenty of restaurants and fast food places that are all a couple minutes away. The rooms are spacious and they have smart tvs so you can watch cable or use a streaming service without having to plug your laptop or console to the tv.

Okay, this visit did not start well but the service here redeemed what probably wouldn’t have been a good stay. I used my digital key to go straight to my room at check in and it smelled excessively like marijuana. Not sure if it was the room itself or coming from an adjacent room but it was terrible. Front desk quickly reassigned my room thankfully and no issues with the next room. Bed was very comfortable ! The hotel is really need of upgrading in the rooms, specifically the bathrooms. Bathtub has caulking missing, bathroom doors chipped and very worn, light fixtures on the wall loose and crooked. However, the wait staff down in the lounge was excellent. Lounge was comfortable and modern and a break place to just unwind. The waitress found a wine that wasn’t on the menu anymore and the b

Room-bed was decent. Shower head and tub spout loose, shower sprayed water all over the floor, prob due to connection. Pressure was wayyy too high. Hot has 2 temperatures, slighty above warm or scalding. Small coffee in room sucks. No flavor, weak. Should offer free Continental brkfst or at least coffee downstairs. AC is preset, coukd not adjust. Warm when we got there, cooled down at night, but too cold. Receptionist when we checked in, although late 845pm ish, was rude and short. If she's tired, should not be working this kind of job. Need a friendly person with a personality at front desk. She told us about the room, hotel, parking as if she was going over a script.

Positive: The location is great and we've stayed here several times before. However, after this last experience, we most likely will never choose this location again! Negative: The hotel is normally non-smoking. However, this stay the cigarette smoke was very strong throughout the hallways up towards our room. It was a consistent odor the entire visit. I was even woken up to it @ 2:0 am, choking. There was also a meth odor.

My flight was cancled and Delta put me here. The room they gave me was 82 degrees and the ac didn't work. I called and got a snippy response but did get a new room. This new room is 76 degrees with equally poor ac. This room also has large stains on the floor. After all the hassle of rearranging my flight, this hotel experience was the straw that broke me. Hotel bar has plenty of options at least. Do not stay here if you can avoid it. Pay a little bit more to have a functional room. Update: The bathroom sink barely works and the handle on the right spins all the way around. If they missed something this obvious, what else are they skipping? Yuck. Update 2: Found a bug in the bathroom.
