Customer Reviews
Great stay overall. Parking was easy and felt very safe. Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. My room was spacious, clean, and offered a great view, and the bed was very comfortable. The location is excellent perfect for walking around downtown Madison. I would definitely stay here again.
We stayed here for a 3 day stay, and I was very impressed. Front desk was super friendly, great location, very modern and nice rooms, we had spectacular views from our corner room. The pool was clean and hot tub was big. The lounge on the floor was very quiet and peaceful and everyone was very attentive and friendly in there. Nice big tv, nice bed and bedding. Only hiccups we had was our room key never worked to leave the parking garage, so they had to buzz us out from the front desk. Not a big deal though. Overall, great Hilton, and we will be back!
Positive: Fantastic location and great rooms although see the "didn't like" section.... Negative: I had to change rooms because there was some kind of minor water leak - which at first I didn't mind, but when I came back from meetings it smelled bad. They immediately and pleasantly gave me a new room when I requested it.
The only reason I didn’t give this place a 5 star is because of the tiny, dated pool and hot tub. Service was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The whole hotel smelled great and had a cozy atmosphere even in the lobby. The location had a great view and the neighborhood is beautiful, walkable & easy to navigate. My daughter and I were in town overnight for a concert at the Majestic Theater. The venue was a few minutes walk away, as well as restaurants, a few bars & the waterfront. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town! 😊
Overall it's not a bad hotel. I used it when traveling to Madison for work. The first time I stayed I had a nice little suite overlooking the lake. The second time I stayed I had a king bed with some questionable splatter marks on the headboard. Since my third stay was already pre-booked through work, out I went again, but got a different room with two queen beds overlooking the capitol building. The parking garage onsite has high ceilings, I believe 6'11", so larger vehicles can fit inside easily. The restaurant service is SLOW. I ended up ordering to-go or getting doordash/uber eats while I was there. Would I stay there again, probably, but I would not pick that king bed room ever again 😆
