Hilton Garden Inn Tri-Cities/Kennewick

Paid a lot more to stay here than the other hotels in the area. Came just for the nite to play golf one day and stayed here because of the name Hilton. The lobby looked nice so we figured the rest would be great too. The pluses…staff and front desk are top notch, very accommodating and very pleasant. The lobby is very nice and modernized. Little bar/restaurant area where there’s a big screen to watch football etc. snacks for sale by the front desk has quit a bit to buy and of course it’s not cheap. (Also vending machines in hotel). Plus They allow pets. Negatives….they allow pets but it’s $75 non refundable fee. They do not have a free continental or free any kind of breakfast. And for the steep price of the rooms they should. This was our first stay here, and it may not be our last. Super friendly and accommodating staff. Well-located for our needs. Less than 10 minute walk from grocery, restaurants, and other stores. The elevators don't take forever. The rooms are comfortable and have the usual amenities. TV with a million channels, microwave, mini-fridge (no freezer compartment), two free waters, closet, mirrors. two night stands chairs, desk, two types of blinds for the windows, A/C, heat, phone, separate bathroom including tub and shower, carpeting. Clean, no bad odors. We had just one roll (partial) of TP and we had our Do Not Disturb sign out so we were bypassed and with TP running low, we asked a cleaning attendant if we could have a roll, and she gave us two. Positive: Location is good Negative: Hotel needs a room update! Rooms are old and dated. Bed is old and furnishings are too. Breakfast was terrible even though a chef is on site. Food was old as if it had been sitting out for some time. Warm temp, not hot and I left the hotel around 8am.

The customer service was amazing. Location's fantastic. But don't let the Hilton name fool you; the rooms were definitely lacking. The bedsheets were...ugh. Rooms felt dated. Walls extremely thin. There was a smell on the second floor near the stairwell. Very unimpressive hotel.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. Dustin, the maintenance guy was incredibly helpful and quickly fixed an issue in our room when we first checked in. The room however, was very dated and needs to be renovated. The carpet looks very worn and is separating at some of the seams. The lights and chairs all seem like they’re out of the 70s. The hotel is well located around a wide area of commercial and entertainment venues. Hilton needs to remind its employees that the cross hatched space in the disabled parking areas is not for parking but rather for customers who need extra room to get in and out of their vehicles.
