Baymont by Wyndham Tri-Cities/Kennewick WA

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. When we got there, there was hair on the ground from the previous people in the bathroom. The remote didn’t work for the TV. We got woken up in the middle of the night by screaming and profanity in the hallway. The next day when we decided to go to the pool, the spa was closed for what looked like some kind of vomit or bodily function that happened in the spa. We decided to give the pool a chance because it looked fine but after a while, one of my kids had found an eaten chicken wing in it, and that was when I drew the line and decided to move hotels to a one across the street that was very accommodating and allowed us to play in the pool while our room was getting ready because of everything that had happened at The Baymont. I am extremely disappointed with this hotel and would strongly advise others—especially families—to stay elsewhere. From the moment I checked in, there were repeated, unexplained charges attempted on my card after I used it at the property. My bank declined them as suspicious. When I brought this to the front desk, I was brushed off and told it was “just fraud protection from your bank” and that I “didn’t need to worry,” which is not an acceptable response when a guest’s card is repeatedly being charged without explanation. On top of that, I was incorrectly charged an additional $80 for two pets, despite clearly stating that one of my animals is a service animal, which should not incur a pet fee. This shows a serious lack of understanding of ADA regulations. The room itself was filthy. The

Located in Kennewick at the Baymont was a neglected dirty little hotel with a broke down bed and garbage in the parking lot. The room was supposed to be a suite but nothing sweet about it. The bed skirt was wrinkled and torn headboard, had greasy head marks from the last guest that stayed there, linens had stains on it. Hot tub was gross cloudy yellow low in water. Coffee was hot but very weak. Breakfast was ok tho the waffle maker only cooked one side of the waffle. Ice machine was inconvenient located on the first floor. Staff was not warm & welcoming, I felt at check in I was bothering them.||Wish I thought of taking pictures.

Positive: The spa, hot tub Negative: The cleanliness of room. Bathroom needed to be swept, there was hair on floor. Sheets on bed were clean (i hope) yet had what looked like makeup stains

Absolutely disgusting rooms. First room had a full tub with water running and urine in the toilet with the toilet tank lid off. Immediately got a second room. New room had mold in my shower and the tub finish was actively peeling. No shampoo or soap. Blood marks on the wall in bathroom. Gross.
