Hilton Garden Inn St. Augustine Beach

I’ve stayed here previously, and had stellar service two years ago. I honestly can’t say what happened, but this stay was rough at best. I’m not a fan of leaving negative reviews, but quite frankly, I was really disappointed in the customer service, stay, and not really seeing the Hilton brand reflected here. The positives: the hotel is clean, it is next to the beach, and it’s quite walkable to many places to eat and drink. The negatives: the first night, my AC unit was making a super loud noise that wasn’t normal, running very rough and either really hot or really cold. I asked the front desk the next morning if maintenance could take a look, and quite frankly, both were rather rude and direct and acted as if they didn’t want to assist. My wife and I recently stayed here for a weekend getaway. We had a pleasant stay. The staff were friendly. The room was clean. We were fortunate that we were able to check in early. After checking out, we discovered we had left a personal item at the hotel. After speaking with Hannah, she demonstrated exceptional customer service, diligence, and professionalism in tracking the item, updating us on the item's condition, and then sending it to our home. Hannah's interaction and follow-through greatly impressed my wife. We would definitely stay here again. It was also an easy walk to the beach!

Perfect for what we needed. My husband and I stayed one night on our way home. The room was clean and updated. The bed and pillows were comfortable. All staff was very helpful and courteous. For the price, couldn’t ask for anything more.

Rooms were nice and clean but we didnt have soap and only 2 towels for 3 people for 4 nights do we had to keep getting towels. Coffee at breakfast we awful so just use their k cups in your room that coffee was good. Its across from the beach but its still a very short walk to the sand. So no views of anything but for the price it was decent. The people at the desk were nice so that made a big difference on the outlook of our stay.
