Hilton Garden Inn Shreveport

The hotel was recently renovated. Rooms are very nice but parts of renovation it appears the workers did not care about being precise, especially in the hallways and bathroom. Staff very nice and care about patrons. We discovered after dressing for bed our room had no to toilet paper so I had to go to the desk to get some. We arrived at breakfast around 930 and the attendant started putting everything away around 940 without asking if we wanted anything more. We had to ask her to get us some items such as fruit, juice and grits. She seemed in a hurry to get out of there. The desk clerk did compensate for the TP with some points.

Positive: Leaving it. Negative: I didn't get the room I booked. The staff was rude. The hotel wasn't 3 stars like I selected. Motorcycles revving engines in the parking lot all night. The bedspread was dirty and some furniture torn. Pool was gross and dirty claiming "construction".

I love HGI as a brand. They are consistently clean, comfortable, and have really good food and drinks. This stay was last minute and I used points for the room. For starters, the Front Desk associate was wonderful in every aspect. Comparing this property to previous HGI stays, it needs some TLC in my opinion. The A/C was not working in the lobby or bar/restaurant area, which is not a huge deal, but it was uncomfortable enough for me to eat in my room. The snack shop had been wiped out, very little left on shelves, noticeably no water available. The toilet in my room was loose and rocked back and forth and the seat was very loose, which caused me to almost fall off of it! Bathroom ceiling paint is peeling. I stayed here the whole week and had a great experience. The room was really clean. Linens were changed out every day! The receptionists up front were very kind. The hotel was packed, but the noise was non existent! The only downfall was the area. It was a bit sketchy. Thanks Hilton! We will stay here again!

I was just over visiting with a couple of friends and I was extremely impressed with the whole experience. They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable and cozy as possible!! Everything from bottled waters to snacks in the room. They definitely reward you for loyalty!! I would definitely recommend to any and everyone!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🫶🏽
