Hilton Garden Inn Mystic/Groton

We stayed here for two nights 9/27 to 9/29/25 in room 209. The hotel is newly renovated and looks great. There is plenty of free parking and the hotel is easy to find. The lobby and dining areas are very nice. The front desk staff, esp. Fatima were very helpful.|There is a small business center with a computer and printer.The breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. Coffee is provided in the am and included in the cost of breakfast. If you are a gold or diamond HH member you get a $10 pp F and B credit. They have 3 breakfast selections that the credit covers (you do end up paying the sales tax). There is a bar and snack area were you can use the credit if you do not want breakfast.|Our room was medium sized, clean, quiet and the beds were comfortable and fairly high off the floor.

When we booked we selected a room away from the street overlooking the woods. They were so slammed when we went ti check in a basically just putting people in rooms at random as they came available. We ended up with a room overlooking the HVAC system. The bathroom had a smell to it. The employees were nice and did there best and honestly I'm not one to make a fuss over anything small. It was just a place to sleep so good enough. But I would have preferred not to here the HVAC system at night.

Room was amazingly clean. Worth the price we paid for sure, it was a steal really. We had the breakfast included when we booked and it was worth it. Best omelet ever, the potatoes were perfectly seasoned and sooooo crispy. I would stay here again 100%.

This is extremely disappointing. We arrived at 11:30pm and got up to our room the door was half open, we checked the room went to close the shade and it bunched up and would not close. My husband called down to the front desk to address the issues. When we asked for a new room we were completely taken back by the extreme rudeness of the front desk Andy. He brought us up keys to the new room and my husband attempted to talk to him and we were given extremely disrespectful attitude. We were told the hotel is old what do you expect you wanted a new room so here it is and walked away from us. We are Hilton silver members and I can for sure say we will absolutely never be back to this hotel. We are now in a room with adjoining doors and will be canceling our reservation for the rest of our stay
