My friends and I booked this hotel just for something fun to do. We booked room with 2 double beds. As we pulled into the hotel, we noticed they were doing construction, windows ripped out of the rooms, dumpsters filled with dirty mattresses we knew right away something was off. We went to check in and the front desk person was very nice but when we checked in they let us know there was a shortage of double bed rooms and they would give us 2 rooms with king beds which we were very unhappy about. We decided to go up and take a look at the rooms, going into the elevator we noticed the walls were duck-tapped in the elevator. This hotel has been gutted. NOTHING you see on this page is what you will see. The restaurant is gutted, there is no lobby:gutted. The walls are tarps and there is a makeshift lobby, but it’s just a table and no one is ever there. Maids come every THREE days, and the halls smell HEAVVVVVVILY of cigarettes, sometimes weed, and someone’s nasty smelling dog or dogs. We had to hold our breath. Someone had kicked a hole in our bathroom door, there were sketchy men (workmen) on our floor a lot. You could only take the down elevator by punching the up button. No ice, no coffee, no meals, nothing. DO NOT BOOK HERE

The room was great but they put a $200 hold on your account for over 3 days after. They didn’t mention a thing during check in. Also the hair dryer only has a concentrated tip now defuser. And even if you have a universal defuser it won’t work because if the attachment already on their blow dryer. I tried to bring my own and it did not work. The electrical system kept turning it off.

Positive: It was in a convenient location. Surrounded by a lot of fast food places. Negative: The hotel was a non-smoking hotel but as soon as you walk in it only smells like cigarettes. No lighting in the pool area and no towels available, when we request them at the front desk (need to ring a bell) they said they ran out of towels.

The outside of the building was in disrepair. Definitely needed work. The lobby was clean. The room was okay. It was clean but the bathroom was very dated. The toilet seat needed replacing. It looked like it was melted in spots and it was peeling. The bathroom sink and counter were dated and there was nowhere to put your shampoo/ body wash in the shower. They had a free breakfast between 7-11. Got there at 10am and there was like nothing left. Wasn’t happy about that so we ate somewhere else. They stated the pool was open 9am-9pm but when we passed by at 11am it was locked up with a bike lock.
