Hilton Garden Inn Long Island City New York

Hilton Garden Inn Long Island City is situated in a great location. It’s walking distance from the train station that takes you into Manhattan. There are lots of food options in the area. Rooms are clean and quiet. You can’t hear any of the outside noise of the city. Shavon at the front desk provided great service and made me feel welcome and appreciated. Amazing customer service.

Great location. Close to subway stations and Manhattan. Check in was a breeze. Shavon was great, very welcoming and helpful. All interactions with the employees were great too. Housekeeping and front desk agents 5⭐️. Clean rooms, bathrooms. Nice gym facility and also they have a laundry wash room. The bar in the lobby has a great vibe and the menu for the restaurant has many options.

All I can tell you is this. I have a dear friend staying at the hotel while she awaits emergency spine surgery. Unfortunately, with all the rushing and trying to get all of her things together and ready quickly (she may be away from home for MONTHS to await surgery, attend doctor's appointments, and for recovery) the footrests to her rollator did not make it from Maryland. While this hotel says its Handicap Accessible, there are ZERO wheelchairs on site, which is very disconcerting were anyone to have an emergency, or, God forbid, someone's wheelchair breaks. She made it to the room but is now trapped there with no way to get to the car or to the surgeon. It is too late to get them shipped before 9am Tuesday, and so the only option we have now is to purchase a detachable footrest strap fro

There cannot be a better place than this to stay in New York. This is my personal suggestion that if you want to stay on budget with decent amenities, good food and the most important , good connectivity to the subway, this is the place to stay. Overall 10/10 experience for the price we paid. We paid around 1200 USD for 6 night for a queen bedroom. It was very well worth it.

The hotel is in a good, safe location and a few minute walk from the subway. The rooms are dated and have a little bit of wear and tear. Plus you’re sandwiched between other buildings so the view is very minimal. Staff was very friendly and resourceful and the hotel area offers plenty of food and cafe options. I would return and stay here as the price is good and you’re just minutes away from Manhattan.
