Hilton Garden Inn Lakeland

A sufficient hotel. Stayed here as it was close to my office and had a restaurant on site. The staff were pleasant and the property is ok. They are probably in need of some upgrades. The bathroom had a little mold and some of the light fixtures were not secured very well to the wall in the room. The bartender the first night was great, very personable and knew how to serve a customer, the second night the lady working just seemed to flounder even though there were only about 8 people there. The food was mediocre but filled its purpose. However, if you are looking for a quite place, this is not it. The walls are so thin. You can hear showers running, people talking, doors slamming. I was kind of forced to get a room here last minute being 3 hours away because my flight left early next morning. I have mobility issues so I had to get the handicap room. I liked it... But there were some mechanical issues in the beds looked a little disheveled... For the price I was paying for the room I expected the beds perfectly made... They weren't. The shower wand hose was not tight and sprayed all over instead of out of the handheld. I was able to fix that using washcloths to grip the fixture/ hose and tighten. The bathroom partially flooded every time you took a shower because of the pitch going away from the shower opening... I had to place towels across the shower entry. We had a great experience here and will likely stay again. There is a spacious parking lot that is well lit and well maintained. The lobby was spotless and the employees were very friendly. We were able to check-in on time with no issues. Our room was clean and spacious. The air conditioning worked great. The bed was comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic, unmatched by anyplace we have stayed. |The pool was a little small and got crowded with a couple little league ball teams that was there at the same time we were there. The location is a little out of the way of things but a couple minute drive got us to where we needed to be.

Such a great stay! From the second I walked in, I felt welcomed and taken care of. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and very well kept. Iman and Lexi at the front desk were amazing, so friendly, helpful, and professional. They made everything easy and made me feel right at home. Definitely coming back!

Not much around the hotel, but close drive to everything. Rideshare is not the strongest that far out from Tampa. Hotel itself though? 10/10. First steps in are very welcoming and the last steps out are as well. Nice rooms, very clean, and people just want to make sure your needs are taken care of. My small asks to accommodate my blindness? Never a problem. It really makes a huge difference when people are nice and professional. Highly recommend.
