Hilton Garden Inn Hanover Arundel Mills BWI Airport

Nice property. Spacious suite. Bed’s mattress was harder than we like but we managed. Water pressure and temp a plus! We were there for nine nights to be with our family….worked out well. Bath & 1/2 was convenient. Plenty of drawer and shelving space. Given our length of stay, the added shelving was appreciated. Near amenities and shopping. Breakfast was ample but nine days of the same selections got old. ||Notes: |This is a combined property with both a Hilton Garden Inn AND a Homewood Suites. ||Would like more hooks or towel racks in the full bathroom. ||Could use a bit more lighting for one side of the bed and better lighting in the 1/2 bath.

Full disclaimer - I booked this stay through Halpern Travel, so my expectations regarding amenities may have been skewed due to what I saw listed through Halpern first. I was generally pleased with our stay. The room was clean and well-appointed. I used the fitness center, which was adequate but small. What I found to be disappointing was that this Hilton Garden nickel and dimed us for Parking ($10 a night) and the hotel breakfast buffet. The breakfast was the same lobby-style, basic breakfast spread that is usually included at other select service hotels, but this location was charging $15. Because of the extra charge, I opted to enjoy a better breakfast elsewhere. I would have much preferred if the parking and breakfast were simply included for the length of my stay and represented in

Traveled for business. Plenty of parking but have to pay through app to park. Hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and polite. My room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of desk space to work. Large TV to kick back and relax. The bed was super comfortable along with the pillows. There is a bar in lobby and also serves some dishes. Plenty of places in short distance such as stores and restaurants. I would stay again when in area.

Clean, quiet Hilton hotel. About what I'd expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. Staff were exceptional. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was good but $$$. I also had dinner one night and it was excellent. They do need to keep up with maintenance better. My first room, I turned on TV and it was obvious someone had thrown something at it as there was a black at at the top with lines going through the rest of the picture. Maintenance was prompt and very nice. He looked into replacing the TV but they were not able to do that as it was late, so they just moved me to another room. In both rooms the shower curtain rod was loose and the shower curtain did not stay completely closed. One of my coworkers said they had the same issue with that in their room.

First and foremost this is my second time here staying with a friend, a hotel charging for parking morning the city is ridiculous. To have a “shuttle service” but no coverage or letting guest know upon arrival is kind of a big inconvenience. Checkin in late to have to wait because systems are down, second time it seems something is wrong when it’s not enough staff for an evening. That’s higher ups, I think the health department needs to come and check out the kitchen because the food… mid and to see fruit flies coming from the back my god I wouldn’t feed some of this food to my dog. The breakfast should be free if it’s going to be cold. The kitchen staff apologized and told me I could go up to the second floor and see how it is for homewood.
