Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Arundel Mills BWI Airport

I stayed at this location from 12/25/26 to 12/28/26, and I left feeling very different from how I do now. Upon arrival, the lobby looked clean and well-maintained. The young lady who checked me in was very nice and helpful. However, when I arrived at my room, it was large and spacious, more than what I had imagined. I looked for a stand for my belongings, but there wasn't one, which wasn't a big deal. I decided to start unpacking, and when I entered the bathroom, I saw a pregnant roach crawling rather quickly across the floor. I was not happy at all! I killed it and began to further inspect the room, only to find a dead one in the shower. I abruptly left the room and went back downstairs to explain to the young lady what I witnessed. She was visibly disgusted and promptly moved me to anoth

I booked a stay at this location and the guest services agent that was on was horrible! Very unempathetic! We had booked online just for use to get to the location and be told that they didn't take our card of for payment. When mind you they had already charged us for one night deposit a few hours prior with the same card! The guest service agent kept chuckling to himself when we explained the situation. We were told we would get refunded money that was already lost.And had to find some place else. The following morning our card was charged again! I called and was told it would be escalated. This place had horrible customer service. I have never had issues with Marriott prior until this situation now I am never going again I will be letting friends and family know not to do the same. This

Pros: The rooms at this hotel were clean, spacious, and overall very nice. Cons: The breakfast is nothing like what is pictured on the website. The pictures are a nice self serve setup with options. This location is doing a grab and go option, which is very limited compared the normal self serve option. If you are looking for a decent breakfast, skip this location, research other hotels, and call them to ask before booking (hopefully the staff knows what the breakfast is compared to the website). The housekeeping service is only provided on Mon and Fri. If you are staying for an extended time, you need to request extra service like trash removal and towels. During my stay the extra service was never provided after being requested. Management did apologize, but be aware when request

Upon arrival we had a friendly greeting, but quickly realized the manager's tactic was to lie about all aspects of the hotel condition. I immediately reported a foul smell in the room and was told no one then or ever had any such complaint. After I insisted since the smell was making me sick (I have allergies), the manager sent another staff member sent to check the room. He said he could not identify an issue. Based on my physical reaction, and the assurance that it had never been a smoking room, I figured it was a mold issue. Still, we were told to wait in the room while the staff person checked on options. After the staffer failed to return, I went to speak with the manager at the front desk. He told me there were no other rooms and I showed him that I could still book a room via google
