Hilton Garden Inn Boise Downtown

The hotel was pretty but we literally were there maybe 45 minutes as we went to dinner and when we came back to the room, we didn't even turn down the blankets as we found the bed to be extremely hard and very uncomfortable. We ended up checking out and letting the front desk agent, Jessica know why. She said she totally understood. I tried to get a refund as we did not stay over. We were very disappointed because we were there to bring in the New Year, but yet we headed home due to the horrible mattress. We were refused a refund and offered keycash that totals 3.22 towards our next eligible trip when our room was close to 200.00 which was not utilized. Positive: location Negative: room a little disheveled few hairs on bed, tv, art, bedskirt crooked, noticeable. Furniture starting to wear. Walkable to downtown although just on the edge. Parking cost extra wasnt expecting and breakfast was extra, also not expected, thin walls

I recently stayed at this hotel for a church event, and the location was perfect for walking to nearby attractions like the zoo. The room itself was not very clean, we requested an extra bed, but after a long five-hour journey, all I wanted was sleep, yet we were left to make our own bed. This was new to us because, in all previous hotels, the hotel ensured that the extra bed was ready for the guest. The room could have been cleaner, with noticeable stains on the chairs and shower. At night, it was also quite noisy due to traffic on the road. The conference was held at the same hotel, but both the ladies' and gentlemen's restrooms were dirty at the time. This has to be one of the noisiest hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It’s located between the on and off ramps. Our room was in the second floor and it sounded like the cars were going to drive through our room directly. When I asked the front desk if the other side of the hotel was as noisy I was offered ear plugs. Nothing like an apology or anything. There is parking next door at the parking garage at $15 per day. The hotel does not have parking. There is no breakfast included. There is a restaurant you can get breakfast at. The waitress was kind and very pleasant so that was nice. The bed was very firm. I asked for 4 blankets to try to soften the bed and was told I could have 2. Some of the staff was pleasant while others not so much.

My family and I stayed here. First comment: parking was less than ideal and a pain in the butt to get into the parking lot. Location in general was nice for downtown shopping as it was close. Once we got checked in and starting to unpack we realize the pack and play provided for my child has a fairly large rip in it. I brought this to the staff members attention to make sure they knew I was not the cause and there was no offer to get a different one. Once unpacking more in the room, I found an empty soda can and chocolate truffle shoved back being the bed frame on the floor. I was able to reach the chocolate and throw it away myself but couldn’t reach the soda can. The pool was decent but the hot tub was super foamy and jets were rather aggressive compared to others.
