Highland Motel

I stay here often working at the mill. It’s close & convenient. Lots of amenities near by as well. Never seen any bugs and the rates are decent. Also good about re supplying clean towels and housekeeping.

This is not a 5 star hotel but for the money it's a good deal. It was clean, the owners were very nice and always made sure we had everything we needed. The mattress in our room was the closest to home that we've slept on in quite some time. This is an older hotel. Bring your own coffee pot, none furnished. Microwave and mini fridge only. Plenty of fast food restaurants close by. Heat and air conditioning worked well. Lots of history in this town and a National Forest. Scenery is beautiful all around.

Would give it 5 if the parking lot wasn't in a sort of sketchy area, but hey, it seemed to be a deserted-like town. Cheapest rate in the area (67 bucks) and looks nicer than others. Owner was very nice, room was very clean, very outdated tub/shower and sink (get what you paid for). Door could use another lock. But for the price I'd recommend this if you need some shuteye.

Omg, where to begin with this place. First of all the rooms are tiny even with two beds. We travel for work and you can't fit much in these rooms. Second, the beds are like bricks, the ice machine never worked. Third, the water at this hotel is absolutely terrible. There is no water pressure and if they have alot of guest good luck getting hot water. I originally booked this place because it was so close to the Mill but should I have to return I think I'd prefer something farther.

We weren’t told we were given a smoking room until after we had paid and also found a jar of lube under our mattress. Walked in the room turned around immediately for a refund and was only given 500 even though we paid 560. Also you better hope your staying at least a week because your going to pay for a week wether you stay the whole time or not. I travel for work and this was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stepped foot in and I have been traveling for work for several years
