Hampton Inn Covington

Friendly staff. Clean comfortable room, but no hot water. Contacted the front desk on different occasions over 3 days. Each time the hot water was turned on, but not in time to travel or go out. Contacted the management by email, and basically got lip service. Overall not impressed.

No hot water on 3 occasions. Arrived on a Friday after a long road trip and ready for an early morning start. Both Friday night and Sat. evening we let the desk know we had no hot water. It was addressed, but then again on Sunday morning no hot water. I never showered while there. I emailed the address provided on their web site Monday evening, asking for a reply before I posted any negative reviews. As of this time, Tuesday noon, no reply. Hard to recommend them, unless you are into cold showers.

We typucally stay in 4 and 5 star hotels when we travel, so I was a little anxious about what we would find. I need not have worried. Friendly staff, clean, fresh smelling room, soft, absorbent towels, ample bath room size, nice bed linens. Very pleasant experience.

Positive: Staff was friendly. It was reasonably close to where I wanted to be, and price was right entire the level of service I received. Negative: Downtown Covington was lovely. But this location, just off the highway, wasn’t great

We needed a place to stay overnight while visiting the area. Easy to get to. Very clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. It’s a smaller hotel so breakfast choices were somewhat limited but more than adequate. Everything was fresh and the space was nice.
