Evergreen Inn

What a wonderful experience at Evergreen Inn. We stayed two nights while on a fishing trip in the area, and we were not disappointed. The Innkeepers were in touch from the time of booking, the day of check in, greeted us at arrival and each night, and again at checkout. Wonderfully friendly people who care about their guests and their comfort. I can't say enough about the level of hospitality and friendliness. The house in incredible, built around 1900, and rich in history. The apartment number 1 we rented was like a large one-bedroom apartment with a full bath, full kitchen, and bedroom with 2 queen beds, plus a pull out couch. It was very comfortable, quiet, and clean. The setting is across from the beautiful Jackson River and you can access the Jackson River Trail just 100 yards

Evergreen is just the place for all occasions. We used the whole house to host our family for Christmas. Each family had a beautifully decorated apartment. Plus there’s a spacious common area that we all shared meals,game time etc together. Jon and Laurie were lwonderful host helping with all our needs and more. It’s also a great place for longer term rental as my husband and I continued to stay in one of the apartments after Christmas for a couple of months while we renovated our home! Loved being near the Jackson River Trail for walking and biking.

Our family of five loved our stay at this beautiful inn! it is cozy, clean, and comfortable! There's a scenic walking/running trail that is right outside the front door. The owners were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again!

perfect location. no matter the season, this beauty has such history, the owners are so sweet & kind. if you have never travel here, please ask for advice, suggestions and where to eat, Jon and Laurie are the awesome couple! They will love to help you out. so cool how it is right there at the Intervale Trailhead of the Jackson River Scenic Trail, so you can bring your bike and be ready to get some exercise and enjoy those gorgeous VA views. you can kayak (boat ride, you could even walk to the boat rental place if that is something u might need as well), we couldn't ride on the Jackson because they were purging the river. Great accommodations! John and Laurie are the best hosts I have dealt with. The house itself is beautiful and has been immaculately restored. It is in a prime spot right on the Jackson River Trail. If you're looking for a mountain getaway make sure to check out the Evergreen Inn!
